I would advise everyone to step away from their keyboards or cells, take sometime to hug ur spouse, eat with family, drink with your friends, and be thankfull that we are worryijg about a cell phone and not about being homeless, starving, or in a war torn 3rd world country.

all this fighting reminds of the bs with Motorola Droid.

I can't believe all this fighting is happening over a phone.. let it go and move on. Don't hold grudges guys. The worlds not going to end...geezzz.

It's actually not the phone, but constant lies that are associated with some people and their site. Cough....alldroid.....cough....

I'm not going to talk smack on all the alldroid guys, but Jake Day is definitely questionable.

He just made a new blog post that starts off with....

"There has been a lot of speculation over the last week or so since I first posted that Overclocked Kernels were being built. This led people to believe that I had rooted the Incredible, which I had not."

The first line is a lie (or at least some serious revisionist history).

From his blog post that started this whole mess:

"That's right, consider this the first notice that the HTC Incredible has been overclocked. Incredible boots and runs smooth at 1.3 ghz (as compared to the 1 ghz stock). I've also played with a 1.5 ghz kernel that I'm working on, but need to clean up a few things first."

There's a big difference between telling someone that you're BUILDING kernels and that you're ACTUALLY RUNNING THEM.

I'm so done following this joker.

I'm with you wolf....this is freaking ridiculous.

Folks, here is what I find amazing ...

We're having to close threads like this on a daily basis; would it not be better use of everyone's time to pool your energy/efforts together and root the device and stop these types of threads?

Furthermore; if you recognize something as being false, what purpose does it serve to jump on the debunking band-wagon?

Report the thread and move on.
