Guys,

Is it OK to change from .35 to .29REVO without any wipe? I did it and nor problem so far... :D

Manual network selection dont work

Guys why its written that manual network select works when it does not... I can see available networks but when i pick it says unable to connect to the network.. only auto select works... i really need this option when i go on roaming to pick my cheapest network. If someone knows how to fix it please help :)

The same for me, Try other kernel version. Miro said, he did some kind of text mistake in implementation or something ...

Ok, im having this weird issue, didnt had this problem with SDSL v 1.0, when im using my data plan i can access the facebook app, it will say connection lost, i cant even access the internet web page, it wont load, other apps work great and i can use the internet but cant access facebook web page, i tried using wireless and it does work, so i called my company to see whats the problem, they reset my data plan but still not working, and they still havent been able to find a solution, so could it be a problem when flashing this new ROM? because i re-did it again, but still same problem, i mean its not a big deal, but i administrate a page over FB, and really need to answer all notifications that i get when im on the go.

Try cleaning caches of the apps (browser and facebook). If don't work you can try a factory reset (wipe: partitions data and cache, and dalvik-cache)

FB works perfectly for me (page at least). I don't use the official app (is very laggy), I use Friendcaster instead (and it work well).

did it and no solution, i just came back from my phone company, we did some test, we used my sim card in another phone and we had the same problem, so we changed my sim card to a brand new sim card, we put it on my phone but again the same problem, so we tried using that new sim card in the other phone we tried earlier, but same problem, wouldnt access FB from browser, so then we did the following, the other phone was able to access FB from browser using his sim card, then we put that sim card into my phone, but with same results, and here is the weird thing, when we put the sim card back to the other phone (the phone that belongs to that sim card) he wasnt able to access FB, but he was able to do it just before we tried that sim card on my phone, what makes me to believe, that my phone is putting up a lock or something to FB into the sim card, this is really new to me, and have no idea how to fix it, any ideas? in the mean time, gonna go back to SDSL V1.1 and see if problem still persists on that version.


Edit: Ok so i went back to SDSL V1.0 and im able to log into the FB app and into the web page, so problem is with V2.2, gonna try to go back to V2.2 and see if problem still persist.

Edit2: Ok, now i have the following problem, i cant go back to V2.2, i did a full wipe (following leoposas tutorial, when i went into fastboot i got a blue screen with some codes instead of the black screen, but it did the full wipe), in CWM when i install zip from sdcard (ROM + Kernel .35), it installs everything, when everything is done and i reboot the phone, i cant get pass the SDSL logo, i tried going back to V1.1, same thing happens, but this time it will bring me back to CWM, when i try to go to fastboot, i get blue screen that says ("Display initialized USB init ept @ 0x6b000")

Edit3:wow already 3 edits haha, anyways so i installed V2.0 by fastboot, because i couldnt do it by recovery, now i have the following issue, i went back to recovery to try and install V2.2, but i get the following error on recovery "E:Cant open /sdcard/xda-cm-7.2.0-SDLSL-11062012.zip (bad)" for some reason CWR cant open my sim card, i can use my sim card normally running V2.0 but every time i try to flash V2.2 it gives me that error, i already flashed it once, so gonna download it again, and see what happens, wish me luck!

Edit4: cant seam to be able to install ROM's by CWR, i would say installation complete, but when i reboot the phone, cant get pass the SDSL silver logo, then when i go back to CWR to try to re flash the ROM, i get this message "E:Cant open /sdcard/xda-cm-7.2.0-SDLSL-11062012.zip (bad)", at this point dont know what to do, really need help right now, currently flashed V2.0 by fastboot, and gonna use this one in the mean time.

Problems with update

Hi all, see if you can help me, I've wiped, formated i have done all ed in the caches and partitions. I have the recovery 5.5.0.4. I completed the installation with 160 mb and 180 mb system partition + 35 + wpa update 0.6 (completely wiped phone). Without SIM holds at least half hour, with the SIM to display lock the phone restarts.

Any suggestions???

Try using 190 mb system partition and instead of .35 kernel use .29 REVO and give it a try.


Now in another note, i found out what is causing the problem of not been able to use FB app or web page, its Kernel .35 that one that is giving me that problem, yesterday with all the issues that i had with recovery of not been able to flash any ROM, i had to flash V2.0 by fastboot, today i though of trying .29 REVO Kernel to see if the problem gets fixed, and indeed it got fix, been able to access FB web page and app, now i only have the issue of not been able to flash ROM's with CWR.

i can pick up manual network, its the only way i can get my network working.

At last i got my phone back to life, my my CWR wouldn't let me install any ROM on my 2GB Sdcard, so i had to use another one i had at home, a 512 mb sd card, for me to able to flash V2.1, and with the facebook problem its on kernel .35, i went back to .29 REVO and facebook works, anyone using kernel .35 able to use facebook?

Me! (Fb page on browser because i don't use Facebook app, i use Friendcaster because is faster than facebook official app)

And last time i tried to flash roms with CWM recovery it worked perfectly. Now i'm on TWRP recovery (is touch =D and full working). Maybe you are having problems with SD card. FB app maybe need to store some files there.. Try formatting the SD card....

Me .. U flashed 2.6.35 ? Or just used the kernel in the ROM?
