I have problem to send files from my phone to my pc with bluetooth (I have paired them). The other way around it works without problem. It also works to send files to another phone. Any suggestion?
Btw, Im not totally on stock settings. I use midnight kernel and the modded framework(which I flashed earlier to test didle on another kernel).

So I've been trying to use this script http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1541942 but init doesn't seem to run. I am using the midnight kernel and I have init.d support enabled and I am using slim 2.9. I have read that I should reinstall busybox and that might solve my problems but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Any ideas would be appreciated

I have solved the problem. Over the past few days I have been trying a number of ICS roms and also tried the Nexus S Radios KB3 and KF1 for Galaxy S. At some point in these trials the IMEI was corrupted (004999010640000). I restored the correct IMEI by Flashing a FROYO rom using Odin. This restored the correct IMEI.
I was then able to Flash a Rooted Gingerbread rom, again using Odin and, eventually was then able to flash Slim 2.9.
I have not yet tried the JVO modem, but will give it a try.
in order to show other language such as Chinese, can i just copy the font from system/fonts from other sgs ics ported ROM that has the language?

soooo coming from darkyrom slim ics is my first 4.0 rom and im loving it so much i dont even wanna try another one.
its amazingly fast and stable.
first off.. there doesnt seem to be an option to turn off the camera sounds so i renamed them directly in the folder for now.
second thing the 2G trigger doesnt seem todo anything, still have to go trough the menu and turn on "only use 2g blah".
third thing is that i dont seem to be able to install any apps from anything (root explorer or titanium backup for example) with anything else then 240dpi.
i could swear i was able to one or two times.. but i can try what i want.. it just wont work. i cant tap, klick or use the install button. what a tease ^^
i tried to search this thread but coundnt find anything for those matters, so please be gentle

I just flashed from 2.8 to 2.9, and I have noticed my batter draining pretty quickly. I looked under battery in the settings, and it tells me that "media" is using 43% of my battery with the "included packages" being: Downloads, download manager, DRM protected content storage, and media storage. What can I do to fix this?

installing apps from the marked is working fine though.
I had been trying to install this for the past few days but couldn't get it to work (ending in bootloop). But finally figured out the problem and hopefully should be able to get it to work. Have heard a lot of good things about the performance of the rom and really want to give this a try. Hope the experience is wonderful

install lcd density modder pro from the market and download the fixed market+GSF.apk ...
I am amused how good is battery life now! It took for me 1 day (on ICSGS or AOKP) to run out of battery earlier - now with Slim it taking 3 days with use and nearly week in standby!

here's what i observed regarding rotation. there's a sensor rotation and auto rotation setting:
nah, the marked works fine... thats the weird thing.
edit: oh my god i figured it out.. its the screen filter app preventing me from pushing that button.. i have no idea why.. the cancel button right next to install was working fine x_X

Installation Instructions:
- A simple wipe cache/dalvik cache and install this should be it. If you want clean install, wipe data, format system, and cache, then install.
RECOMMENDED OPTION FOR NEW USERS
- These steps should work for anybody who has Sammy GB ROM on the phone with CWM recovery
- Flash CM9/TH build 16 or my Slim ICS 2.6 then my latest base + essentials ( if you are on another ICS ROM, this shouldn't bee needed)
- Reboot to recovery or if it bootloops, pull battery, enter CWM
- wipe data, Flash base + essentials
- reboot to system

- Fast Charge in Kernel and Controlled via ASS - thanks to chad0989 for FC patch - Turned off by default, take a look at this post for how it works.
- Free Mem increase via kernel and device ( increase of about 40 MB) - thanks to Kali of CM team for source, i get about 200 MB free with 60 data apps installed, increase of about 50 MB.
- Face book Sync
- Nav Bar via ASS, turned off by default , turn it on via ASS( search and memu vritual keys are not transparent, other 3 are)
- Calendar ( text ) in lockscreen, turned off by default again, turn it on via ASS.
- Kernel Tweaks via ASS - thanks to AOKP for source - Don't enable fast charge in boot, if you do, it will cut off the data connection to pc.
- Base and Essentials pretty much remain the same size
