It does keep it on 2G for me. It shows "automatic" when you go back into Field Test, but unless you actually change it, it doesn't modify that setting. Test it out. It will never go back to 3G if you set it as 2G only. I'm not sure if it resets to Auto on a soft-reset, but how many times have you actually had to reset your device?

What do you do to get it to save after you make the change? I've tried changing it then hitting the back button or the Windows button, and it makes no change. If it was connected to 3G before, it stays on 3G. If it was connected to Edge, it'll still switch back to 3G when I get into coverage. That's all without a soft reset too.

hum ... :confused:... If I change a value data and click Ok I have an alert message "Change Registry Value?" and after clic ok new value is not accept, it's the old !

I use Registry Editor for this maybe with an another program ?

Registry Editor doesn't have access to all registry!
use provxml method to write where you want.

can you add the XAP CONNECTION i try to download from the other post but it keeps giving me error when extracting

Marketpalce is not yet available in your country/region

Anyone an idea how to disable this message and use the market after all? I live the netherlands and have activated my Live ID but am unable to visit the market.... :(

I actually had to go somewhere else and find the connectionsetup app. I did a bing search and it turns out that the connection setup xap file is here on xda. with the htc hub, flashlite and everything. installed it and made he call. now everything is running nice.

when i send and receive mms, i get the blurry, any idea?

three should be a registry edit for that.

    After a lot of research i have found a way to deploy provxml on WP7 HTC Device.
    now we can create folder,write registry keys and move files.


    Updated V 0.0.1 no more need touchxplorer to move file ,
    now autodeploy the provxml you add into this xap

    attachment.php


    Prerequisites:

    -An HTC Device Chevron unlocked
    -HTC Connection setup
    -the tool rgu to xml attached
    -HTC-ProvXml-Deploy0.0.1.xap
    1-Create a text file with REGEDIT4 on top 1st line.
    put your registry keys in it. like in this exemple(Don't miss REGEDIT4 on the top)
    (this key add more option in ease of access)

    Code: 
    REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Accessibility]
    "CompactMode"=dword:0
    "TTY"=dword:1
    "telecoil_UI"=dword:1
    "telecoil"=dword:1

    2-Convert this text file to a provxml with the attached tool rgu-2-xml.exe

    3-Rename this file CustClear.provxml

    4-Extract the XAP from the attached RAR.

    4-Put the custclear.provxml file inside the xap
    If you have winrar
    do a right clic on the xap then select open with winrar.
    replace custclear.provxml .


    5-Deploy the XAP on your device, Press the green button to apply your settings.

    6-Uninstall HTC-ProvXml-Deploy then reboot to be sure.

    I have try to Changing this:

    And this Seem to definitively unlock your device no longer need to run ChevronWP7 or use in flight mode.
    My phone never been relock when connect to zune.
    If someone can try and confirm it's cool.

    This registry key are not for unlock device!!!
    just to prevent relock when connect to the computer for chevron user.



    But take care do not Relock your device with Chevron after this.
    if you do it!
    rename and apply the restoreCustClear.provxml include in the XAP

    - Right click open "HTC-ProvXml-Deploy0.0.1.xap" using WinRar, on the menu bar of Winrar there is a "Add" button, use "Add" to add the CustClear.provxml to "HTC-ProvXml-Deploy0.0.1.xap"
