[Q] Cannot locate the backup made by ClockworkMod

I made a backup with ClockworkMod of my nexus 4,

and I see it when I go into clockworkmod recovery and choose restore from sdcard, it shows the path

/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup and 2014-08-25.16.20.49/ (which I guess is a subdirectory?)


But when I open a terminal emulator or do adb shell, and do cd and ls, I can't see it

C:\>adb shell
shell@android:/ $ cd sdcard
cd sdcard
shell@android:/sdcard $ cd clockworkmod
cd clockworkmod
shell@android:/sdcard/clockworkmod $ ls
ls
shell@android:/sdcard/clockworkmod $ ls -a
ls -a
.last_install_path
.nomedia
.recovery_version
.settings
shell@android:/sdcard/clockworkmod $


I cannot see it from any file manager either, and they have root access. /sdcard/clockworkmod shows as empty, or, as in ls -a, just shows a few hidden files starting with as seen above .

I don't know why people still use cwm. There is so much wrong with it. Go to /data/media/clockworkmod

thanks, that solves it. I see both places- /data/media/clockworkmod = /mnt/shell/emulated/clockworkmod/ mentioned http://xdaforums.com/google-nexus-5/general/info-storage-nexus-5-data-info-loss-t2534010


Also i'm not sure what advantage i'll get from it but I've now changed to TWRP I understand it has more partitioning feaetures.. though nexus 4 has no external card i'd be partitioning.
