[Q] Moto X constantly uploading/downloading data in the background
I have an AT&T Moto X. I've noticed that EVERY time I turn on my screen the WiFi indicator shows data being uploaded and downloaded. I installed a data manager and it said Adblock Plus was eating up a ton of data. I uninstalled and rebooted. However anytime I turn the phone on the data is uploading and downloading in the background.
Nothing is keeping the CPU awake as its mostly in deep sleep mode. I also checked wakelocks and the only ones are the nlpwakelock which I assume is for the "OK, Google Now" feature. That shouldn't be doing it because I believe the data isnt sent to google until you actually ask it a question.
Not sure what else to do. Anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: Also noticed in data manager that "Android OS services" data has been creeping up. Its only 187kb but it seems like that might be the culprit? Not sure what to do about it though.
