connection issues

hi ,

I have windows 8 pc ,

I have installed LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN38AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.8.1 on my pc , don't know if it is the right one for my device.
plugged phone in and on my computer does not show up the phone,

it shows on device manager on ports and modem. but when I use ioroot it sates looking for device .

please can any one help

Koush universal drivers should work....or maybe disable driver Signing
