Some general feedback:
The Pen Window takes a few seconds longer to appear after drawing a square with v7.2, v8 and v9 than it does on stock 4.3/4.4 leak/4.4 official, even with just 1 app in the list.
With the pen window manager app - once I add more apps to the possible list then save it and reboot, the apps are selectable in the pen window edit mode, as expected...but if I go back to pen window manager and remove apps from the list and save it, they are removed from its list but sometimes they are still selectable in the pen window 'edit mode' for a few reboots but then eventually are gone from the bottom bar of selectable apps in the pen window 'edit mode'.
I haven't had any random reboot problems, but twice in 2 days the phone froze with v8.
Both times it was identical... phone was in deep sleep in my pocket, I pulled it out, unlocked it, pressed camera, heard the droplet sound but no camera opened and everything stopped responding, the only thing that would respond was pressing the power button which sent the screen black, and pressing the power button again brought me right back to the frozen homescreen, totally bypassing the lockscreen, I tried like 50 times, same thing, so I had to hold power button down for a while to reboot.
Also once on v8, at some random time, the lockscreen just stopped working, as if I had chosen 'none' for my lockscreen, exactly as above, but without the entire homescreen freeze, all other apps worked, no lag, etc.. rebooted and all was perfect again.
I also had 2 entire sudden network drops whilst on full 4G signal on the same days that I had the freezes with v8, 1 during a phonecall, but no problems or dropouts for me with v7.2, nor with v9 so far
v9 has way better battery life for me too (4-3 hours longer with roughly same usage) and less microlags than v7.2 and v8. :good::good::good:
I did a 'no wipe' install from v7.2 to v8, and again from v8 to v9, no app or settings changes other than a few unrelated app updates.
Something else I noticed - If a user already has an app installed in/data/app (from play store, sideload, etc), such as ES file explorer for example, then selecting to install ES file explorer from Aroma installer when installing the same or newer version of omega will result in both the newly installed system app and the user app versions disappearing.
I also have a question about the 'stock kernel' on omega files..it cant actually be the 'official untouched' stock kernel can it?
I mean, wouldn't it have to be the 'stock kernel, but with Superuser included and Knox removed' version yeh?
