Maybe it's my turn to get pissed. 2 weeks ago my Charge forgot how to run DJRun and Google Play Videos. This morning it was in a constant reboot cycles so I had to factory reset it. Now it's taking forever to come up after a reboot, and failing to properly install a few apps. FoxFi installed fine but now says it isn't installed, as does AAA's main app, SMS Backup+, and Google Goggles. The FB app keeps saying Invalid Package, and the Play Market keeps telling me it isn't connected to the internet.
About to factory reset it again and hope for better results, installing even less next time. What a weird quirk. Think the flash rom/ram is going out?
Ya dwith and the other devs here have been really good to us. Did they offer you a different phone? If so which ones? Think i should call back and try to get a different rep?
nope - just a replacement charge (mine was a CPO to begin with). and to be honest, I have had ZERO problems with the phone since rooting it aside from the lack of battery performance. so when I call in, I tell them that battery life is 12 hours idle on 4G, and their response is "well, that is typical for a smartphone".... on the low end, yes.
Primary Device: Motorola Razr M (XT907)
ROM: DeadRage; Energy

whats a CPO? i tried calling back but they keep just wanting to send me more charges. Ive already had 8 and they were sent with everything ranging from screen issues, blown speakers, and one was completely unusable due to excessive FC issues. they but me in touch with samsung but they can only repair and will take 3-4wks.

CPO = Certified Pre-Owned (basically same as CLNR)....
I would think after 8 charges they would move you on to another device. if I were you, I would call in again, and if the tech person still offers you only another charge, ask to speak to their supervisor. but be polite about it. I have realized that over my many years of complaining at companies, you get a lot farther with them when you are polite, nice, and show that you are cooperative (basically tried each of their solutions).
Try saying something like, "look, my ideal solution here would be for you to replace my charge with the Samsung GS3, but I understand that is not likely to happen. And I certainly don't want to suffer through another Charge, so perhaps we can find some middle ground. If I say I'm willing to meet you half-way by paying for the discounted contract price for a new Motorola Maxx (or whatever you want), then can you work something out?"

CNLR's are notoriously hit and miss anyway. The proximity sensor failed on my Rezound, and they sent me a CLNR that had the screen completely detached at the top. Not just a little loose feeling, but completely detached to the point I could run my fingernail under the edge of the glass. The second replacement I got has been fine. Others have gone through half a dozen in a row before getting one that worked right. 100-point inspection my @$$....

o ive been completely polite and nice to everybody. ive called 3 times with the same results. The 3rd time though he set up a trouble shooting ticket and the engineers are suppose to look into things and will call me within 72 hrs. I have no idea what any of that means . maybe yall could enlighten me more. they said after everything has been investigated then they might be able to put me in a different device

By the sound of that it seems like they are wanting to use the System Scope to investigate your device. Did you give them permission/consent? And if so, are you currently rooted? If so I would make sure that I was completely stock before letting them do the system diagnostics because if they see anything like root apps or super user then there's a good chance they will dismiss your case as voided warranty and you can probably kiss your new phone goodbye. Just a heads up.

I was rooted with tweaked 2.2 and waiting for 3.0 to drop but i decided to flash back to stock and take the ota updates up to fp5 before i called them. what is a system scope? and i never told them to do it or not to do it. he just said that they would investigate. sounds like its all kinda extreme measures isn't it? or is this normal stuff?
Yes we have a locked bootloader... but we still have cwm.. via "dual boot" im running my own little creation of a rom in other news the kexec roms are starting to roll out for the razr. Custom kernels and dhacker29 has done a successful port of cm10(kexec) to the razr- no working camera/video though... coincidently having to do with no ril... lol

I called to get the my nexus replaced beacuse it was messing up on me and instead of the nexus they sent me a s3. The radio is crap to tho. It a low coverage area( Verizon calls “extended network") my s3 was trying to download YouTube video while a friend with a Motorola droid 4 was downloading fine w/o buffer. This has happened to me with the charge, nexus, and s3.Just an update
Edit: I miss my problem free charge. I've had nothing but problems from every CLN device Verizon sent me. With the s3 rooted running kang it has been a bit better

I got a CPO Nexus for my Charge. They made me buy a battery for it though, $25 extended battery/back, not too bad I guess.
The first CPO Nexus they sent was not put together properly, you could see the inside of the pogo pins next to the screen and the data connection would not hold a signal, full bars until you tried to use it then no service. I had for less than 5 hours before calling and demanding a different one. I have not had any issues with the second CPO they sent me. The quality of the CPOs is totally hit or miss, the first one should not have even passes a visual inspection much less any sort of test for the data.
I told them I was just going to pay the ETF and go to another carrier if they wanted to send another Charge. I was having some dropped data and the occasional, deafening screech mid-call. I went through 3 Fascinates and 2 Charges before getting the Nexus. FYI the battery life on the Nexus with the extended battery is comparable to the Charge, a little less, but close.
Any ACTIVE Charge devs, dwith you appear to be the last one, want a battery and back for a Charge? The battery was about a week old, I just had it replaced under warranty (if you pay the $2 a month insurance your battery is covered, as well as the phone, against any defects indefinitely, well worth it to keep everything under warranty) PM me if you want it.
They told me to send the battery/back and microSD card in with the returned Charge, but I figured F-em since they made me buy a battery for the Nexus.
Also, if anybody is considering early upgrade/upgrading at the end of their contract check out wirefly.com I'm getting another Nexus from them since my early upgrade date is here. $29.99 for a Nexus and dock.
