Basically in was trying to install what I thought was a ROM, but was really an updater, and bricked my kindle (it was mislabeled) . TWRP works but i have no ROM/backup (Had no space fora backup on the sdcard at the time, my data part. was huge and I didn't think to a factory reset). Can I copy a ROM to the sdcard through TWRP on a first gen Kindle Fire from my PC (Win 8)?

I have everything mounted, and i wan't to know, before i waste time, will adb work with twrp on the First Gen. If not, a full detailed instructional on how to unbrick it.

if you mounted, you can drag and drop or copy and paste.
which version of TWRP? 2.6.3.1, 2.2.2.1 ?
