Notification Popup Alert

This app displays incoming notifications as pop-ups. You will be able to see whats happening in your system, even if you are in a fullscreen app or game, without opening the notification tray.
Still in beta, so don't expect a perfect app.

Screenshots:

Features:
  • Select apps to monitor or monitor all apps (5 apps max)
  • Set pop-up style (dark or light)

PRO Features:

  • Exclude apps to monitor
  • Set pop-up position (top or bottom)
  • Set pop-up display timeout

Requeriments:
  • This app is installed as an Accessibility Service, so you will have to enable Accessibility and the app component called Notification Popup.

Hi! Just installed it from Google Play on my rooted Nexus 4 (Android 4.2.2)

I have that issue, not sure if just on Nexus 4, or Jelly Bean, or what: when clicking to enable/disable service, app sends you to the Accessibility Settings page, but there's no "Notification Popup app" to enable. It's not on the list of choices.

So I can't auth the app to be one of my Accessibility Services :(

Try rebooting your phone. Had the same problem with DashClock's WhatsApp extension.

I have the NotificationPopup option in my accessibility settings, but when I tap it to enable, it just opens another instance of the accessibility settings.

I have to go out of the app and into Settings -> Accessibility to turn it on.

However, the NotificationsPopup app still suggests that the service is not enabled.

Ehhhhh?

Note: My sig is old...I'm running 4.2.2 Xylon now with Harsh Kernel.

Same on several other such apps.

Examples: The floating music controller service.
Notification Browser app/widget.
etc.

On my Padfone 2 it worked right away on Android 4.1.2. Enable service and now wait for the first notification popup :). I was waiting for an app like this long time. Thank you.

Edit: But I never eceive any notification. The service is enabled.

Heres a few images I made to show how this app should look, at least in Android 4.0+.

Clicking once on the popup would bring you to the app like clicking on a regular notification would. It would dismiss itself after 5 seconds, so user interaction wouldn't be necessary.

How to open test notification, cant see the option....

Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

Installed the app. Was able to enable it in accessibility but nothing popups for me. I tried notify for all as well as selecting specific apps. Running AllianceRom (4.1.2) on Galaxy s2

The test notification is shown everytime you change the visual configuration of the pop-up (position, theme, etc).

I uploaded a new version which may fix that problems (or thats what i hope).

good app, its what im looking for, but it doesnt show anything for me.
installed it, set it on, even tried restarting, and setting to show all notifications.
    (want it for whatsapp)

    just doesnt show anything

    sgs 2 (GTI9100)
    cm 10.1 nightly

    any idea/

Well, i detected a critical bug on Android 4.0.3+ devices, which made it crash. I was unable to handle that error (wasn't able ANYWAY, the most weird thing ever), so i had to change almost the whole service. Now, seems fixed.

Well, i don't have any ICS or JB device, so i cannot test if it has been really fixed, but MUST.
