Hi all!

My name is Mattias (or in english name Matthew) and im new here.

I couldnt post in the forum i wanted bc im new so I post here.

I own a LG G2 which i think is awesome. I recently updated to KK and i must say the phone is a little bit faster now.

Now to the problem, i have searched the web for solutions but I cant find any unless I do a recovery back to JB 4.2.2.
I want to root this phone and I have tried the Ioroot24 solution which is the simpliest way. I have followed the instructions step by step and at first it looks good but then when the script is trying to run the abd root command i got the error "adbd cannot run as root in production builds" "device not found".

But when i type the command "adb devices" i can see my device so it's connected.

Though i did found in the forum Ioroot24 this:
"Device Model and Firmware Supported:

LG Optimus G - All

LG G2:
D800 - D80010d/D80010o/D80010q
D801 - TMO, CLR, WND, VTR [all 4.2.2. firmware. 4.4.2 not yet.]
D802 - all 4.2.2 firmware. 4.4.2 not yet.
D803 - all 4.2.2 firmware. 4.4.2 not yet.
D805 - all 4.2.2 firmware. 4.4.2 not yet.
D806 - all 4.2.2 firmware. 4.4.2 not yet."

My model is in bold, D802.
So it seems like its not supported yet for KK, or im wrong?

Have u successfully rooted your LG G2 which has the offical KK version?

Should i wait for that fix or do recovery? Seems like a lot of work if that fix is coming soon.

Any thoughts would be helpful.:)
