Mhm.. that doesnt sound good. Are you able to choose a Contact ?, is your WhatsApp data folder located at Data/data/com.whatsapp ?, Can you send a report when the app crashes ?.

i’m receiving spam messages from other people. they might be using whatsapp spammer. will try it now.
