As far as I know it doesnt . If your device is paid for you can request the unlock code .Usually when i upgrade to a new phone I request the unlock code so I can get a little more $ for my phone..If your Unlocking the phone cause you owe tmobile money and plan to go to another carrier then i guess this isnt possible . If region Lockaway worked im sure there would be a thread here as of day one . I wouldnt try it it might brick you phone .It says it isnt supported
