[Q] HTC One (M7) can't flash recovery | "target reported max download size.."

I have the same issue with sprint phone.
Earlier I have had such issue with M7.
custom recoveries will not boot up. But flash OK

Provide more information please:
  • fastboot getvar all
  • bootloader locked/unlocked status
  • current recovery installed (name + version)
  • recovery you are trying to flash (name + version + link)
  • Your current rom version
  • stock or custom rom
  • what is your main goal
