um, whatever
but you replied in the other post "this is for those on other carriers or non-working WiMax 4G"
If you had simply included that in your original topic, could have avoided some replies

if you have working sprint then you dont need to add anything. if you dont have working sprint 4g then you can add the mac address from your Clearwire modem.
Not 100% sure but I believe it would remain untouched even after a ##786# reset.. just as the meid etc would remain untouched. resort to checking the label under your battery for original MAC
Thanks very much.
Question: will a ##786# reset restore original values if needed?
Actually, the values will be completely reset and a full reactivation would be necessary.
There's a good reason for the developer to maintain anonymity... That's probably why the OP doesn't want to discuss what this tool is for...

the MAC address remains untouched after a 786 reset. whatever you change it to it stays. the other wimax settings such as entry rx etc WILL get reset as you said.. and yes.. after every 786 reset an activation will be required(or BS info in the mdn/msid/profile 1 data profile fields)... BUT anything edited in the NV sticks.. MAC edits/MEID edits/Refurb edits

I looked behind my house modem and there were two macs, a cable mac and a modem mac... I put the cable mac number on my phone... is that what u meant?
if your modem is a Clearwire WiMax modem then yes. if your modem is a comcast/road runner/time warner/charter/etc.. then no, that wouldnt work.
this is only for wimax service on the phone. this isnt something magic that takes cable internet and makes it work on your phone.
Lol sorry bout that... and I'm not trying to give u a hard time, but as others state, its really not clear as to what we sometimes need to do... the steps are pretty easy don't get me wrong, but SOMETIMES its like "uhhh what's this for, or what now"
So could modifying some of these settings help me use 4g in doors because as soon as I walk in side my house I lose the connection

If I read it correctly it enhances your 4g connection if your currently in a Wimax area... Im just stuck on step 3.... No need to be a douche....smh... I hate ignorant ppl
AND how can i do that if i have to pay 35 bucks for a clearwire plan? that defeats th purpose of my et4g being on boost.... i followed everything to a t, except the editing of my mac address..what now?
Ok I apologize.... I do appreciate your work autoprime... I understand that changing to -115 will allow me to get onto the 4g and not enhance it... I was jusy trying to figure out how to do so... I also have sprint and the 4g plan...sorry if I seem naive
