Default [Q] Firefox OS on Omnia II (i8000)

Are there any efforts for porting the new "Firefox OS" to Omnia II ? or will it be something that we can install on top of windows 6.5 ?

Which version? I've got quite different experience in that matter. Omnia II i8000 has too slow processor (old ARM11 unit), slow GPU and tiny amount of RAM (256MB)

I do not understand why people intend to compare a phone produced in 2009 with Samsung Galaxy S4 or iphone5 hardware ?
When it was produced it was one of the best. Even today for someone that loves his phone, or simply doesn't wan't/ doesn't have to spend too much money for a better phone i8000 is very good and if you port android on it, with the combination of the two OS can do many many jobs

Now about Firefox OS according to this
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/...S/Introduction
YES, firefox os is possible theoretically to run on our phone.
The problem is drivers, drivers, drivers.
If any one of these phones will ever run ported Firefox OS, we may have chances to see it on our phone. If not i think none will write drivers from zero point.
