OK, yeah I was thinking the same thing as a temporary fix. I do like the notifications etc you get with PA pie, but will do LMT also for now I think

I don't see the need to do that as pie works fine.

I love it too. I can't wait for the bugs to be worked out. I've only found 2. The sound issues that are the same on many of hashcodes builds, and Google voice doesn't work. With those being fixed, I may have a permanent Rom.

Google voice is fine. I use it extensively and have no issues whatsoever.

What do you mean extended screen? Was thinking as a temporary thing of putting LMT on. What setting is extended screen? If you're talking about full screen where it gets rid of navbar I already had that enabled. Pie worked everywhere except when I had the app drawer open.

No problems with pie on app drawer. I took the last screenshot in the 2nd post.

What launcher do you use, maybe it's a combo of settings between the two. Like I said it's strange, I can't see it but it still functions (like I said in app drawer only, doesn't do that anywhere else). I spent an entire day in system setting and couldn't figure out a combo. Any help would be appreciated

Whatever the default launcher is. You need to have PIE enabled then enable "Expanded Desktop"

Ok. Default launcher is trebuchet. It's ok for you? I've always switched to Apex right away because trebuchet has always been buggy on other roms, at least I don't ever recall it being stable. If it is stable though, maybe I'll dump apex in this case though.

Ok just had problems with pie also, worked and was visible til recently...I just placed tablet from portrait to landscape as soon as it booted up and pie wasn't visible anymore,,.. I could use pie function and it acted like pie was there but nothing popped up, just a heads up to DroidIt! Problem

Yeah, sounds exactly like what I was getting. I'm at a loss. Hopefully not a little snippet of code buried somewhere deep in the Rom. Hopefully he'll be able to fix, love this Rom

This Rom is waiting for hashcodes 3.4 (?) Kernel, and then it will be good to go. (Presumably)

Sent from my JellyBeer Fire HD

That, and I did try doing a refresh build today to update to JellyBeer v4.31, but it seems as if something broke in the latest updates, because I received numerous errors after Hashcode updated his github. I'm hoping these will be fixed soon. If there is a 3.4.x kernel for tate and is about ready I could start doing alpha builds. I'll check.

This is by far my favourite ROM, just wish the audio driver problems could be sorted :(

There's been some updates to the source, once I finish up an experimental HALO build I'll see if I can compile a new build. I think that would put this to v4.32.

FYI, until I work out some of the other kinks in the audio the following item can help to keep your audio running decently under custom ROMs:

Do not enable "LOCK SCREEN AUDIO" or "TOUCH SOUNDS" in the sounds menu.

And the 3.4 kernel is under development but won't be ready for quite a while.

@Hashcode thanks! However when I compile anything for tate I'm getting an error for a "jarjar.jar" file and read somewhere that this error is due to a possible typo in one of the make files.

    I did find this: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=41833959&postcount=494

But there is no source code to compile this kernel. From what I've seen development for your device has been rather quiet lately. I'll see if there's anything I can do kernel wise. ;)

It's enabled in the kernel on KFire-Android for bowser:
    https://github.com/KFire-Android/kernel_omap_bowser-common/commits/cm-10.1

However, it doesn't default to 1.5ghz. Need to adjust that in performance settings.

    Hope that helps,

I'm on vacation this week, but when I get back I'll tweak the audio a bit more to help w/ switching apps, latency and recording.
