[System Dump & Test ROM RUU] HTC Desire HD !

After initially looking at the ROM its way oversized for the Desire 300MB+ when we only have 250MB available, anyway I've cleared some clutter and cut it down to 246MB

-edit 246MB was still too big, trying again 236MB now

Why not just move /data to SD... this should solve the problem and we will still have some free space to install apps on the phone

After compressing the HD ROM, I can split it between /system and /data. But they're both full.

If we remap /data completely to SD, it could theoretically work. It's just like the old G1 days.

I'm curious to see the new camera app,if is true that is done for making better photos.. someone has tried to install the apk from Desire hd to our desire?

I tried but it insta-fc'ed

. Not that i'd expected it to work..different drivers, firmware and stuff i guess..let's just be patient

the desire HD has a 8PM cam so I doubt porting over the software will make any difference.

I'm uploading a 'clean' dump, cleaned by me yesterday (but I haven't make it work), for if someone likes to try it work with kernel you like, about 243~MB uncompressed (159MB rar) without kernel. I have deleted some things to reduce space.

If you put kernel and update-script it should flash it, but yesterday I can't get it work (flash ok but sh error at init)

It's if someone have to try with my cleaning..It's uploaded now
