Yes, I will be still supporting ICS since I know a number of you don't want to make the jump
6.3 should be right on JB's tail :)

I'm fine jumping ship, I would rather be most up to date if it runs just as good as ics aokp, then I see no reason not to.

Don't know if this was covered since we have a 4.0.4 android bow couldn't you pull stuff to help the camera, and a few other bugs.

I notice a huge difference with JB. Way smoother when scrolling. The whole device has better performance. You will notice the difference......

Hey rohan, I posted a few times, but I don't think that you saw with all of the craziness of source. You mentioned that you'd do it a while ago, but I guess never got around to it.... With the new builds coming out tomorrow it would be nice to make the quick switch :)

Switch the torch on the lock screen from power button to the volume rockers please :) phone will reboot with ten seconds on torch, ha!

Donation will come tomorrow!!!

Ah, my bad, I must have missed it! :)
I will look at the code once I find it :) Though I'm not sure if I can get it to work because as of now, the device only recognizes the power button when in deep sleep (which is why things like volume rocker wake stop working after a few mins). Nevertheless, I will look at it tomorrow after I continue work on 6.3.

Will volume wake from deep sleep be eventually possible now with source?

How and why is that? Are we talking "for certain features..." or period?

I was under the impression that if we have kernel source and AOSP we were pretty much good to go for all but the proprietary features. Am I wrong?

    • MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
    • Full wipes are highly recommended but YMMV. Don't report any new bugs if you didn't wipe, and don't judge it either since you might come across more problems than actually present in the ROM.
    • Flash ROM
    • Flash Gapps
    • Reboot
    • Change APN to the one below

    AT&T:
Go to Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > click menu, New APN

    Name: ATT PTA
    APN: pta
    MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
    MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
    MMS port: 80
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 410
    Auth: none
    APN type: default,mms,supl,hipri

Those of you running a carrier other than AT&T will have a different APN. Please search around the forums to find the correct settings. Thank you.

If you are getting weird data issues, flash the 2.09 leaked AT&T radio, it seems the best for this ROM.

    ======================================================

    What works:
    Touchscreen
    Calling
    Mobile Data
    SMS + MMS
    Sound
    Camera
    WiFi
App switch button remapped as menu ("old" configuration)
    Rotation
    Proximity sensor
    init.d
    Video camera
    LED Light Notification
    Autobrightness
    Battery stats under settings
    Geolocation
    NFC

    What doesn't work:
Face Unlock (shouldn't be using it anyway... its not secure at all... :p)
Panorama mode in Camera app, same as CM (use 3rd party app)

AOKP's Source can be found here: Github

If you want to build/contribute, go here:
    http://github.com/rohanmathur/aokp_evita/
Look through the repos referenced in the default.xml and add them manually to a normal ICS AOKP sync by using the repo's name as the folder path. If you are confused of what I mean, contact me on twitter @rohanXm.

Follow the directions in the README.
If you want to contribute please message me on twitter (@rohanXm) I'd love to help you out to get started! Or if you are just curious and want to download the source for the curiosity! :)

    -AOKP's optimization merged
-Fixed all the stuff AOKP broke because of their repo fiasco (this is why this update took so long)
