Best remote control for G Pad

I'm wanting to put a remote control app on my G Pad. It's rooted and running the Mahdi ROM. Any suggestions?

I'd like to have control over the IR blaster, but how about those that are wifi based? Any suggestions?

One of the popular ones for Android is iRule

Personally I have not tried it but do plan to at some point. Another one out there that I found in the Play store is MyURemote:

Don't have any experience with this one either. Wish there was a trial version.
