I don't think square trade would do this but I know our auto insurance companies do sometimes.....if you get insurance on a vehicle or up your coverage and shortly after have a claim, they will actually search the net looking for aliases and email address of yours that have commented online looking for talk about fraud or having problems with the vehicle etc.....if you are planning on committing fraud don't talk about it beforehand
And honestly why IS anyone suggesting dishonest ways to deal with it. We are all smart enough to think of lying or buying coverage after the fact, it's not that complicated or secret lol
I just don't get why people assume that they are clever ny suggesting to merely go in and lie....but hey I guess that's just me
