Can't stock restore formerly encrypted Nexus 7
Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I could restore my Nexus 7 (2012):
- I have the device unlocked and rooted. I had CleanROM 4.0 installed on my nexus
- I encrypted the device
- I had the issue where the battery ran out and it got stuck on the bootloop so I used Wugfresh's toolkit to wipe everything on the tablet
- I then tried the Flash Stock + Unroot option with JWR66Y and got the "bootloader writing failed" error (attached screen)
Now there's no OS on the system and I get a "booting failed" error when I try to go to recovery mode. I've tried temporarily booting into TWRP to see if I could wipe the device, but it asks me for the decryption passcode and when I use the passcode I'd set, it tells me the password is wrong.
So I'm not sure what to do here, and if my encrypting the device is causing the bootloader to not install for some reason.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
