Does HTC have an apk that handles its updates? I know Samsung had sdm.apk. I want to delete it to avoid updates

I wondered the same thing. I froze with TiBu Updater6.0.741111 but I'm still concerned. I can't wait until CM11 is available so I can sleep at night and not worry about some verizon crap being pushed to my phone while I sleep.
Any confirmations on how to disable OTA's?
