[Q] Tablet appears hardbricked ...but I didn't do anything that could hard brick it??
My tf300T was running paranoid android from the 4.1 boot-loader and associated JB TWRP recovery. I decided I wanted to return to stock so I could get the new 4.2 boot-loader and install CM10.2. I booted into fastboot and flashed the Asus .blob for the US SKU with fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
. It seemed to have completed the process successfully, cool. I went to copy and paste the reboot command (because I was too lazy to type it) but accidentally pasted and executed fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
AGAIN. It shouldn't have been a big deal, but it froze on writing the System. It was stuck and didn't appear to be finishing no matter how long I waited. Since it was just writing /system I didn't think I could get hard-bricked so I wasn't worried and held the power button. Now the tablet is shut off but I can't turn it on o_____o it is plugged into the power adapter and has a green light (indicating battery is full?) but it won't turn on! When I plug it into my computer my computer makes the USB connected sound but then gives me a notification saying USB device not recognized.
I really SHOULDN'T? be hard-bricked since the blob just writes the /system? bootloader and recovery shouldn't be flashed until the boot.
Am I done for? Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated ...
