Well HTC got back and since they can't 'recreate' it with the included headphones they are pointing their finger towards MS. I went out to post on their forums and noticed someone already has. I suggest we all go out and 'Me Too' this

Default Same thing

Long time since the last post on this thread.

I have the same problem: HTC 7 Pro running Mango. Although I´d like to point out I have the issue regardless the use of a headset. It happens even when zune is playing through the speaker.

My zune pass is up to date, but to no avail....

Hey, im having the same problem.. I will flash a custom rom this weekend so I can't look for it right now:

Did anyone ever looked up in the registry if there is an option to disable the music pausing after sliding the phone?
Furthermore, is there no custom rom that can fixes this problem?

[EDIT] Hai!
I recently flashed the mentioned custom Rom on my device, the newest Tango rls by Answer.. and voila, the music does not stop anymore while sliding the device!

[EDIT2] well I just found out, that it works only with speaker.. with my ear phones, it still stops playing while sliding

[EDIT3] Just figured out the Reason!! This happens, because the Original earphones have an button and if you press it, the music will stop. Although the speakers got 4 Contacts instead of 3 like a usual 3,5Jack.. the additional one is for the pause function, i'm sure.

I bet it happens because, the phone expects some sort of signal through the pause contact, and now gets a signal from one of the others.

Essayist solution would be cutting of the Jack from the official earphone and connect it with your own ones.. I'll take a look at it, so that we don't have to cut of the Jack of our good speakers! (those by HTC have a bad quality anyway)
Press "Thanks" if it helped, Please.

I need you!
[Q] [DEV] Reference to XNA framework in Background Agent? /MediaPlayer/ Scrobbler!/ Get Current Song /
It's for my Last.Fm Scrobbler "RavenFM" (WIP Title)
It allready is an full Scrobble Client but I need some help with the Background Agent.
It will be for unlocked Phones, so that you can Scrobble all your Songs live, without keeping the app open!

By me:
[TuT] [HTC 7 PRO] use every ear-/headphone without slide'n'pause
