went through a couple of roms in 1 day. finally settled on this one.
allow me to say to you just a few things.
1stly, thank you OP for the lovely rom. It has been a great pleasure flashing this rom as everything is truly easy. Dont think it can get any easier than this.
2ndly, thank you all for aiding me. My last rom was simply honey 3.8 and that thread is off the grid. Shows how outdated i am huh.
3rdly back to you again OP, this rom i installed looks really good. not too heavy on the resources, enough for eyecandy and a marvellous job at performance still. Kudos, no joke, i really salute you for this rom. It breathes new life into my vibrant.

Last question i have is, how come when i change something in the mixed theme section, say example bootanimation or something, it wont revert or change ? works on some themes, dont work on others ? are the themes itself bugged ? coz when i tried a full theme, some parts work and some dont ? anyway this is something i can live with. Still a great piece of eyecandy with oomph performance.

MiuiV4 themes are still a work in progress by MIUI china. They only partially work as you have noticed.

Maybe weird. Many of my friends complaining me that they can't hear my voice during a call at all when flashed into WeUI Rom. Other rom works fine without any problem. Anyone else facing this prob ??

don't worry, hes not being lazy or anything. Its just that MIUI hasn't updated its base in a while.

New MIUI is undergoing testing right now, and according to jrongi(miuiv4 dev for vibrant) if all goes well, his own ROM will be updating, so im sure NS will update WeUI as well.

Love this rom. Been enjoying it for a few days now. Only issue I've seen so far is that people say that they can barely hear me when they call, but I can hear them perfectly fine. I havent tested it personally, but several other people confirmed when they call me. Any fix at all?

I am keen on MIUI, but when I tried the other MIUI build I couldn't live with the lack of app drawer, 360 launcher was buggy, and using Trebuchet just made the ROM look like regular ICS.
I love the MIUI look with the customized icons and sounds, but would still like an app drawer so I don't have a cluttered desktop full of app icons/folders.

Well, this rom comes with the option for 3 different launchers
- Default
- Trebuchet
- TWiz 4 (Modified)
TW4 has a small issue with it being closed by the memory management (assuming). Where after you play something then go back it "sometimes" wont re-load the launcher.
Honestly, your best bet would be these 3.
- AltDrawer (RECOMMENDED)
- AWD
- Go launcher
Launchers are basically at the users choice. MIUI itself uses the default one without the app drawer. Find something else and uninstall the default one!

Just re-flash the rom WITHOUT factory reset. Just wipe cache. This will reinstall l the missing apps.

To install properly and avoid any problem follow these steps:
Coming from Gingerbread
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Data Wipe"
4. Select "Install Now"
5. Your device will reboot to recovery at the start of the installation (if you get a recovery bootloop or it doesn't reboot to recovery, do it manually)
6. Open the WeUI zip file again from recovery
7. The installation will continue where it left off and finish by itself
8. Reboot
Coming from another ICS ROM
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Data Wipe"
4. Select "Install Now"
5. Reboot
Updating from older WeUI
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Cache Wipe" (if coming from certain old WeUI versions you will need Data Wipe)

Known problems with the test version:
-It's using mostly Nexus S libraries right now instead of Galaxy S' since it doesn't boot anymore with them, which made the camera and AriesParts (DeviceSettings) force close... I've fixed the camera temporarily but still need to fix it completely
-No updater app for now (Settings - > About Phone - > System Updates FC is normal because of this)
-WeUI Feedback for force closed app not launching

Mute/unmute: Who isn't it fixed for?
911:
Removing the proprietary libaudio for Vibrant was supposed to fix issues, and it may have. But now, we have a few people still failing 911. This could be an entirely different problem. I'm not sure if this is due to differences in how our libaudio *should* be coded vs how it *is* coded. We are currently using an almost copy of the Nexus S libaudio, so that fact could be causing us issues. (For example, the mute/unmute bug, if you use a straight copy of the NS libaudio)
I have a tester who can consistently get 911 to fail, he's helping testing my builds. The latest build I sent him has a fallback for 911 that, if it works, will hopefully provide a more solid chance of it working in a dire situation, till we get this fixed, and even after, for builds using our SamsungRIL.
