Strictly follow the method given below otherwise u will get bootloop and mounting system before flashing is must

Guys those who want to have navigation button on cm9 rom can use the flashable zip which I modified.

I find many people who are asking for navigation button on ics rom and even I love them because I don't need to press those hard buttons now.

I used the framework-res of latest beta 4 cm9 from by lupohirp and I think u can use it on any cm9 rom but never forget to make backuP

buttons are modded ics blue colour instead of grey

download flashable zip from the attachment attached at the end of this post

How to use -

Read it carefully,,

1. Go into recovery
2. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
3. Mount system(mounts menu)
4. Flash it
5. Reboot(just got a minute and it booted)

Btw!

####Do Not Use Root Explorer!!!####

####Mount System Before Flashing!!!####

Or else BOOTLOOP!

Now keyboard also fits properly without changing LCD density thanks to lupohirp and arjen for their awesum work
I also changed navigation button height to 36.0 do to make it look good on our phones 3.2 inch screen

I did it with the help of this thread
xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1364757
In beginning I got errors but at last I succeded

If u want to turn hardware buttons light off than use gscript app and save and run this stack programme

#!/system/bin/sh
echo 0 > /sys/devices/platform/pmic-leds/leds/button-backlight/brightness
chmod 0 /sys/devices/platform/pmic-leds/leds/button-backlight/brightness

Market does not seem to be compatible with gscript app so here is link
www.mediafire.com/?6zvlxf86ajxb6xc

I have to download whole rom again to test it for u and tried doing it in various ways and sorry for inconvenience caused to you so guys please and give feedback

After replacing and trying to flash, I get (status 0) error followed by aborted installation error. And the zip does not seem to be corrupt - tried twice on different systems.

Can you make a flash-able zip ?

Dude than replace meta-inf folder from your original framework-Res.apk to the framework I provided you.should work in this way.try it and reply back.than I will update above post

Attempt 1) Replaced framework in zip file using 7zip and flashed -> bootloop

Attempt 2) Replaced meta-inf folder from original framework in your framework, replaced framework in zip and flashed -> bootloop

In between u can flash original rom with original framework by wiping cache and dalvik cache.in this way u will not loose your data except those system app which u installed manually

May be try in this way
First install lupohirp cm9 rom
Gave it first boot
Than just wipe cache and dalvik cache
Flash the rom with new framework
Don't replace meta-inf,replace it only when u get status 0 error

Can you make one for KANG 2?

Hello! Button ICS Kang2 by Lupo in download...by Notonlyeyes

The nav Bar is supposed to hide completely in some full screen apps like gallery, camera, games, lock screen... But here it just turns black and the places where the buttons were there are still clickable.

    Sent from my LG-P500

Earlier they used to hide in appn such as camera and others but on lock screen they never do
I think cm9 team might have made changes to their sources which might be causing it.hope they fix it
