For one, let me just say I LOVE THIS THREAD!
Now that that's out of the way lol, i have a question that i posted in the SCv7 thread and didn't get an answer.
I have the bootmenu app on both systems. On my second system with ics leak 1, bootmenu shows hijack and packages installed. On my 1st system with SCv7 leak 2, bootmenu does not show hijack and packages installed.
Will it mess anything up if i installed the packages and hijack?

Can you give me more explanation as to what the packages are and what the hijack is intended for? If the hijack you're referring to is anything like CWM's, it simply allows the hijack of the system to allow the booting of a custom recovery prior to Android OS booting. Do you have access to the custom recovery from both the 1st and 2nd system?

From what I know, or at least I think I know, the hijack and packages are required. I can get into custom recovery from both systems. I'm just wandering why in the second system it shows packages and hijack installed, but not in the first.

You could try installing, I mean, if it's on the 2nd system and running without issues, it would stand to reason that it would also on the other system as well...

That was my thought as well, but I just wanted to be sure. Better safe than sorry right?
Double thanks bro. You're awesome.

Any time mate, my pleasure. Let us know how it turns out, I'm curious!

Ahem, if I may elaborate....
The hijack can only be installed on the main ROM as it is the one with the system files in it. The second ROM is placed in the spot where the webtop partition is. Recovery can not be installed on the webtop partition as the files necessary for it to run are not listed there. The second ROM takes the place of the webtop. So in actuality, you only have one recovery possible that controls both ROMS on both partitions. That's why it shows on one and not the other.
And man apex, you've been busy mate. Must not be driving.

Hex apex, can you help me out with this volume down issue in this stock boot mode menu ? Googled it but i just found the workaround via adb. Your patience is much appreciated
Are you rooted? Member iorl stated that after he rooted, and installed BootMenu, the volume down issue sort of 'evaporated'. What have you found as a work around? This is weird, I've never heard of this as being a problem until now...

Although some have flashed CWM backups from the ME865 to the MB865, there are some things to consider. Read here.
I installed Romulus and during the course of getting it configured, I decided to completely discharge the battery, wipe battery stats in recovery, and allow it to recharge fully. After selecting "reboot" in CWM menu, it went to the Moto splash screen for a minute or two, rebooted to the same screen and repeated ad naseum. I was able to get back to CWM a couple of times, how I don't know, and tried rebooting again with the same results. I found this to be a known issue of the combination of a fully discharged battery and CWM on boot mod. Being anal about backups, I was able to restore Blaze v3 which allowed me to charge the battery off of the 0% mark I was stuck on. After hitting 10%, I restored the Romulus backup I did this morning when I lucked out and made it back to CWM on one of the boot loops.
I did see the dreaded white LED during this excursion, so that in and of itself does NOT indicate a hard-brick. And I now know not to allow my battery to fully discharge with the CWM on boot mod. However, I am wondering where to go from here.....
Does anyone know of a more expedient way of recovering from this situation? And how can I safely remove the CWM on boot and still be able to boot into CWM? I am assuming alteredlikeness used rdavisct's CWM on boot mod since my GPS works properly, but I am not sure how to disable it without breaking something else. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Hopefully, this will help others as well.

[Q] Unable to charge while off?

Thanks for the link. I was searching for others experiences, but didn't go back quite far enough I guess.
Going forward, I will just have to be careful and make sure to not let the battery fully discharge. Thanks for your help.
See, what's weird is that I've never had that issue, as mentioned by me in that thread. Nonetheless, there's some good explanations and suggestions in that one. And yes, I would advise everyone to not allow your battery to fully discharge to the point of a power down, after doing anything to the boot sequence (hijacking) to avoid this from happening...

Very painstakingly, I assume. There is no legacy support in vanilla aosp, so unless someone has already done it for an omap4 device, it will take quite an effort. How would one go about porting the Android L developer preview to edison?
Any news on android 5.0 for us? Waiting for it real bad.

hi there, wanted to ask here since i got a slow response from the main thread http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2668788
Here's a chronological event of my phone's life. When i first bought it, i it was 2.3.6 and then i installed the official update of 4.0.4. But it was too slow for my liking and hence i started rooting and flash to a 4.2.2 custom ROM. And now I wanted to try out Mokee 4.4.2 ROM, and I used the bootstrap method to enter the boot menu, and I guess that's where the problem started. The M logo loads and then stays blank and black for an eternity.
1. i suppose my phone is currently clean slate, where i have used the "android stock recovery" to erase all data and cache. So what should i do now to insert a new ROM? I've got a 4.4 Mokee ROM in my SD card, so how do i flash it from there?
2. Or do i need to fxz it using the sbf 4.0.4 file and then flash the ROM atop it? If that's the case, my Atrix 2 is MB865 and is in Asia(Malaysia) region. Which sbf file do i used?
3. Is it fine to use ME865 or other regions(except AT&T) sbf files to RSD my MB865?
Hope i can get a fast reply here, urgently need my phone.
