I'll turn my screen on randomly and show no signal and the indicator is grey since sbrissens 4/25.

This is while traveling for work in areas I never had problems with before.

It always fails to install for me. I have CWM and i have the actual rom on sd card, i wipe all the datas and factory reset , but every time i fail to obtain cm 10. Can someone point me in a solution for this problem

I had the same problem. Re-installing CWM (normal version as well as touch) did nothing for me. Slick_Rick's advice of installing TWRP is spot on. I had to do that myself a couple of days ago.

Keep in mind that CWM backups are not compatible with TWRP backups. You'll want to redo any backups you want quick access to.

Signals been dead steady for me. Battery seems 'better' but the statistics reporting is still pretty messed up.

Unfortunately I'm not able to get GPS on the nightlies... running 4/26 at the moment and can't get a lock at all. Back on the 4/15 build I believe it was, with sbrissens fix applied, I could get a lock in my house within 3 seconds, all the way down to like 4 meters accuracy. Now I can stand outside on a clear day and nothing. It's as if the fix was not applied at all and it's back to the old ways of not locking on ever =/ just constant blinking GPS icon in the notification bar.

Does anyone else seem to have constant problems with Maps? For some reason it keeps wake locks and always monitors my GPS (Just WiFi & network location, my actual GPS is disabled unless Maps is open in the foreground). I don't even have any kind of location reporting enabled! Or is this just battery stats messed up? I've been at work all morning so I've only had my screen of for 30 minutes, so I should have MUCH more than 73%...

I might do a clean flash and see if that helps.

Literally just checked my battery stats prior to looking on XDA and bam, exact same thing here. It claims Maps is looking for GP for the last 5 hours, keeping my phone awake. Thing is my battery life is fine and doesn't really reflect that type of intense wake lock. Odd.

Mine is normal. Used maps for about 5-10 mins. Used 8% battery.

CPU time and wake lock were both less than 10 mins.

Asked this a few post back. A reboot fixes it

Well can we get a consensus on whether or not GPS is working in the nightlies? I fresh installed 4/26 and it's a definite no go for me. Not even by toggling off Network based location can I even see any satellites. It's just 0/0 fixes in GPS Status app.

What happened? That 4/15 build was so solid in terms of GPS.

My GPS worked but I got a lock before dirty flashing the 4.26 build

Weird I just flashed the 4/27 nightly and GPS was fine, not quite as good as the 4/25 build I posted but it still worked.

Your custom brewed builds, the GPS is just lovely. The nightlies, never once did they work out for me with the GPS. Dunno what's up

I don't like twrp. The problem is that our build prop calls our device something other than what the newest cwr is looking for. In the development section there is a touch and reg version that work fine

Strange issue: when calling voicemail, the number pad entries (ie, pressing 7 to delete a message) don't register on the other end. Anyone else run into this?

Actually yes I have. It was when I was reinstalling Windows 7 for a new build and had to use the 1-800 number to obtain a new activation code. The system absolutely would not understand neither my voice nor the dialpad numbers. I had to hang up, on the spot flash my old TW ROM backup, and try again. It worked without flaw on the TouchWiz ROM. I don't know why, but I was getting mega frustrated at the time and instantly figured it was an AOSP problem, so I wiped and waddya know I was right.

Wonder what's up with that?

Progress is being made. My 10.2 builds are compiling OK now. I can flash and boot to the homescreen but anything I try to launch causes a soft reboot.
Mine do the same and I have no cell signal. I think I messed up loading the props. Let me know if you make any progress or maybe slickrick will shine some light on the subject

Thank you sbrissen for developing for this awesome device and all of our donators who made it possible! None of this would have happened without you guys :)

You will lose S Pen and other Touchwiz functionality if you flash this but here is how you can get some of that functionality back!
    1. S Pen works (try out the app Papyrus as a replacement to S Note, Papyrus does utilize the S Pen button as well).
    2. Air View works (Go to settings, Language & input, check "Show icon when using stylus".
    3. The S Pen button works (Go to settings, Language & input, Stylus gestures, those all use the s pen button).
    4. Pop up browser = OverSkreen from the Google Play Store.
    5. I use the 4.2 Camera on Touchwiz anyway. There are plenty of good camera apps in the market if you want more features.
    6. Multiwindow. There is no alternative, dont ask.
And here's some alternatives to Touchwiz apps (PM me if you want me to add something!)
    Code:
    [URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myboyfriendisageek.stickit"]Stick it! (Pop-up Player)[/URL]
[URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clov4r.android.nil&hl=en"]MoboPlayer[/URL]- It's another very capable, free video player with floating player functionality. Plus its free!

If you want to downgrade back to a 4.1.x ROM, flash the restore-sdcard-after-downgrade.zip attached below AFTER flashing back to 4.1.x ROM. Your storage situation will be how it was pre-CM10.1 flash. Thanks to madmack for the file.

alright, I'm good with the phone logs. I submitted a change for speaker phone and it got merged so tonight's should have MOAR VOLUMEZ on speaker.

Still working on BT and gps.

and still looking for logs of apps where the mic isn't working.

I'll be starting a cm10.2 thread shortly. For anyone thinking of flashing back to 10.1, not going to happen unless you do a clean install so backup first! A couple databases were updated and cannot be reverted.
