Well here is some things you can try to improve battery life:

1. change to stock ROM and see if the problem persists

2. try some battery saving tips such as setting brightness low, turn off auto sync and background sync.

3. not sure if this would actually work, but try downloading battery monitor from market, and if it has not detected it is a 2000mah battery, change it to 2000mah.

4. it is a faulty battery try a new one.

Thx for answer: I've downloaded battery monitor and it says 1650 mAh! Lol,it doesnt detected that Ive got 2000 mAh battery? So i've changed it to 2000 mAh. And what should I wait now when I changed it? :)

try changing it to 2000mah and the charging output(you will normally find your charging output on the actual charger). and then test battery life again, cant say it will definitely work but give it a try and drop me a private message or write on here to let me know if it works out for you :)

Yours is not a counterfeit. I've yet to see counterfeit extended 2000mah. I got mine from a telco and initially it displayed as 1650mah but after a whole it automagically changed to 2000mah. Now I can't remember if it was because I did the calibration trick (the remove battery for 2mins method), or was it because of the running several charge cycles with battery monitor widget. My advice do both. Lemme know if things work out for you :)

I tried that it didn't work out for me needed to manually change it then I saw an improvement in battery life. :/ I swear these bloody things should of come with the phone already the battery and widget!

So,I changed to 2000 mAh and now: if I understand :D I have to change "Charger output power" in Battery Monitor Widget? If yes,there is value "-1" ..is it normal ?? On the charget i've got values: OUTPUT : 5.0V=0.7A ...So I should change charget output power from -1 to 0.0007 or what? :) :-/

Oh God,Im moron:D Im not from UK,so it can be different. but 0.7A is not 0.0007mA ,but 700mA:D so u got 500mA and I should change it from -1 to 700? Am I right?

It's great, love this battery, lasts me through the day every single day, and on low usage, gets me 2 days. 20% makes a difference!

Can someone from you try this? If you get same problem as me. So fully charge the battery. If it is 100%,unplug it and turn on 3G,automatically sync gmail and 8 hours let the phone without any using(im doing this at night,so phone is really without using:D ) And how many % your battery will have after this 8 hours.. Mine got about 95%,it is annoying:-/ Thx in advance

CM7.1 and SGS2 with 2000mah

I am using custom ROM on my SGS2 - Cyanogenmod 7.1 and recently have installed original 2000mah Samsung kit but it looks like it doesn't recognize the correct volume of battery.

Because it drains for the same time like previous - no improvement at all.

Can anyone help me.

    Soo my extended battery finally arrived. It is genuine samsung battery that comes with new backplate. The battery is a little bit thicker so it makes the phone 1mm thicker. On the other hand it hides and protects the camera lens, it feels better in the hand and its cheap, only 23 euro ! Without further talking Pictures: (I will add pictures of the kit with the phone later cause my sister took my digital camera and as you know, the phone cant take pictures of itself :p Though Im going to try some troll mirror technology later today :D

    So as you can see its genuine samsung battery, Doesnt add too much bulk, its high quality, just what I wanted. I wanted bigger battery but I hate those ugly bulky cheap plastic batteries.

    Battery life results will be availible later, because I just bought the battery 10 minutes ago :D Ill do both "normal phone usage" comparisons and also 100-0 screen on 100perecnt cpu load tests.

    Edit: Also a little bonus which doesnt really show anything I didnt have time to play with the phone, Im still on my first charge cycle with some gameplay (around 45min) of dungeon defenders. The rate at which the percent drop is noticeably lower, also the phone doesnt get so hot which is a good thing.

    Well it seem I am getting a lot of PMs if I can buy and send them over. So Ive decided Ill go through with it I just hope I dont run into trouble with this so.

    If you are not able to buy one in you country or the date of the first batch is too far away (you have to take the shipping time into account) Drop me a pm (even if you already did, ive cleaned up my inbox.

    Ill make some tonight. My sister has my camera so I cant take them now, Though I must say it looks great, basically the thickness is only added where the original backplate was and now it matches with the thickness of the bottom part where the speaker is. It looks completely natural plus the camera lens is now deeper and doesnt stand out, so when you put your phone on a table the phone doesnt lie on the lens. And BTW the phone is still slimmer than SGS1
