It's not worth double posting a thread. You can simple supply a link in your thread. I also find many with a link in their sig. This will most likely suffice. Can I post this in HTC desire c forums?

@saywhatt are you OK with this ^^?@TonyStark, at the bottom of the OP where you explain how best to explain the new members problem, it would be a good idea to add the following link to help them aswell - [HOW TO] make a substantial THREAD, POST, QUESTION and POLL

No matter the length of time you are here. No matter the content of information you poses. There will always be somebody with more knowledge that will call you a noobGood read. Though it would also be interesting to have a way for existing devs who aren't XDA members (like me ) to be able to fasttrack out of noob status, for example by answering some questionnaire on coding, hacking, or dev-related matters. Having to submit 10 posts (while waiting 5 mins in between, and having to find meaningful things to say) just before I can reply to some questions on other dev forums is somewhat tedious...
yes im a noob but weren't all here at one time or another.the best thig here is to take advantage of what others here have learned and not get discuraged. i will be the first to admit im a noob and proud of it. i've been able to take the info i learned here and mod some of my own phones im working with some of the older androids so i can work my way up to the newer ones thanks to all for what you have tought me all that you will teach me un the future.
It's all about common sense and reading, which fewer now are willing to do.This is good information! How you compose your question can make a HUGE difference in the answers you get back.
