Init.d editing to fix a root problem?
The "Untouched" version of the Google Edition ROM I'm using gives me this warning after every backup and restore:
Root Access Possibly Lost Fix?
THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE
1. YES fix root (/system/xbin/su)
2. NO do not fix
In short, It's not related to the kernel, but the init.d script, which is the stock script in the ROM. How can I edit it to fix this?
Selecting "Yes" or "No" produces the same results. I do not lose root, but the problem persists.
The typical response was to reflash SuperSU, but I've done this with 1.6.5 and nothing fixes it. I have even done a clean install twice, but nothing has helped.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
