Why must you spam the thread to ask this?

1) read other people's posts
2) just try the ROM

but anyways if you're so lazy, google chrome works great on CM9.

Facebook sync

I am using the latest nightly 27/04 but i cant seem to get my facebook contacts to sync, i have added the sync account, told it to "sync now" many times and in contacts played around with the contacts you wish to show, it lists the facebook account there, but when i make it show contacts from that account, it doesn't list anything.

sorry if had already been asked but there are alot of posts to go through.

and help with a solution would be greatly appreciated.

PS oh also is there any way to make the contacts only list the users with a phone number in the entry, i know you could do it on stock sammy 2.3.5

thank you again

Hey.
I'm using the latest build of CM9. 0412. Is it normal to have a battery drain from70% to 39% listen music and the phone in flight mode?
Or the rom is still draining too much battery?
Regards.

Very careless post, you don't know how to ask I suppose.
any phone would drain from 70% to 39% in some amount of time if you are keep listening to are you kidding, please be specific.

Latest nightly + Siyah 3.2b results in pretty decent battery life for me. Unplugged three hours ago, an hour+ ride in the metro (music all the time and constantly searching for network), quite a bit of web browsing and just a little gaming - and I'm still with 90% left. If my memory serves me well, on any previous build I'd be below 80% in the best case scenario.

Ok been enough months am following the update and the weekly nightly versions for ics
Till now no stable one can install at phone and whould be perfect for the dialy use .
Cm9 looks so far from servicing the people looking for clean ics .
People were talking about the need or the necessary ics code to make the rom kinda stable and good .
Even the cm7 still not enough stable unfortunatly.
Developers fix a problem in a nightly version after couples of nightlies the same old one will back again and never end ..
Lol got tired of months tring this rom but time to even change my sg2 as one cm9 gave a last hope to run my phone petfectly and guess they will never finish this rom .
Thanks anyway for your trings but doesnt worth anymore

WTF comes to mind. Then LOL. Then another WTF. Then a HUH? And finally a whatever.

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    - Choose cm-9-XXXXXXXX-ODIN-galaxys2.tar.md5 as PDA
    - Boot your phone into download mode

    - Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
    - Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished

    It's done when it's done. Don't expect a release withing the next days. If it takes weeks, then it takes weeks.

    I'll focus on I9100 development because it's the device with the most users.
    It will take us a lot of time to integrate all patches/hacks needed for samsung devices.

    Don't bug us or ask for etas, just be patient and let us work.
    That's the best what you can do.
