Hí!

I'm using original 55 ICS rom on my phone. The bootloader is locked.
Can I install this rom using flashtool?
Thx

petipetya

I guess it won't work on locked bootloader.

No, until your device is developer version (non available on market). For flashing on our devices we have to wait for CWM backup vesiion, and then you still have to unlock bl in order to restore boot.

This should be final version then....

I'm downloading right now, will provide with screenshots and initial thoughts.
Before that - do I need to flash stock ICS or it doesn't matter? My logic suggests that it is not needed to flash anything since backup should contain everything.

I would think the same. Also, it wasn't mentioned in the OP.

By the way, I don't suppose a backup from CWM is compatible with TWRP? I seriously consider installing this.

Nothing is needed, only CWM. After install of this rom CWM will be gone, since CWM is integrated in kernel you need to wait for someone to create a CWM-stock-kernel image ;)
Maybe @DooMLoRD will do it :D i am too lazy

here is advanced stock kernel for this leak

i have tested this on older .197 leak but it should also work on this .200 leak ;)

this has to be flashed AFTER you have restored the pre-rooted backup

[ features ]

  • contains CWM 6.0.2.7 recovery
  • insecure kernel
  • rootfs & /system mounted as RW

[ how-to flash this ]

  • after u finish restoring the pre-rooted backup (from the first post by Bin4ry) through recovery reboot phone
  • reboot into fastboot/bootloader mode
    Code:
    adb reboot bootloader
  • flash this kernel through fastboot
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot S-DooMLoRD-JB_leak_200-AdvStk_v1.elf
  • then reboot from fastboot mode
    Code:
    fastboot reboot

[ how-to enter recovery ]

    Hey,

someone sended me this rom, it can only be flashed on BROWN devices, testkey signed.
But i think it can be flashed like last leak, in recoveymode flash partition and boot ;)

So here is it, have fun with it!

To use this ROM you need either a BROWN (PROTOTYPE/TESTING) or a UNLOCKED Device with CWM installed!

    FTF: only for prototypes/brown devices
    http://ul.to/iyw3amxh

    NO MIRRORS please!

CWM Method (prerooted + Advanced StockKernel from Doomlord included): [Update: Changed to "normal" update.zip]
    Download this file:
    Mirror 1: http://ul.to/lb0m55r2
    Mirror 2: http://clz.to/i69mm7dd

    NO MIRRORS PLEASE

Flash the "LT26i-6.2.B.0.200-update.zip" with the option "Install zip from sideload" or "Install zip from SD" and reboot :) - Done

First boot may take some time, if after 5 minutes phone is not boot up, then go to fastboot and flash the attached userdata.sin with fastboot (fastboot flash userdata userdata.sin).

    Screenshot in attachement!

@DooMLoRD has made a AdvancedStock Kernel already:
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=41824768&posted=1#post41824768

    Sidenote:
If you have the "old" CWM package (restore the backup) and you get md5sum mismatch then do this: (thanks @Envious_Data)

If you have Superuser problems do this:
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=41835933

    adb shell
    cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2013-05-25.14.36.55
    rm nandroid.md5
    md5sum *img > nandroid.md5
    md5sum *tar* >> nandroid.md5

Ok, so some people seem to have problems. So i changed the format of the CWM file to normal update.zip format.

Now you can just flash the Rom like a update.zip, as boot.img i have included Doomlords kernel, which is sony's kernel with extra, does not hurt and gives people recovery even after installing this rom :)

Hope now it is good for all people!

    I would suggest like this:

Use flashtool and extract the ext4 part from system.sin

    then push system.ext4 to phone
    in recovery shell do:
    dd if=/path/to/system.sin of=/dev/block/insertblockdeviceofsystempartitionhere

after that reboot to fastboot and
    fastboot flash boot kernel.sin

then maybe also erase userdata from fastboot and cross your fingers ;)

This is NOT a proper instruction to do this, only a first way i would start ;)

Another way would be to mount the system.sin on your pc and create a proper update.zip from it =)
