When the brightness doesn't increase after taking out from pocket, I immediately press the power button and then press the power button to wake up the phone again. This makes the screen brightness change according to the brightness.

Another thing that I noticed is sometimes when I come from bright environment the screen stays brighter and doesn't dim when I come indoors and if I do this again it works.

Thanks for this workaround.. I'll try it :)

When file description says file size is 120MB and the downloaded file you have is less, then your download obviously is corrupted. Don't try to flash such file. Try to download the file later again. Only flash files with size and md5-checksum corresponding to their description.

Charging under 0423 nightly with LPS modem is getting very hot. Not sure this is firmware or ROM issue. I'll update to 0425 and see what will happen.

Never mind. I think the heat is because I charge it when only 1% battery left. Usually the phone will not be hot when I charge at 10%~15%.

There is something strange with the Language - Spelling correction

My system is in English, but I want the Spelling correction be in Portuguese. So I enter in the configuration:

vZ1bR.png

BetWK.png

5Hi77.png

And it's checked as "Use system language". But when I try to find the "Portuguese", it's not there.

Altough, I can change the System Language to Portuguese, and then "Use system language". But, in my case, I want to continue with the system in english.

I have very bad battery life with latest nightly :p
Useless report is useless... No system wakelock statistics, no kernel wakelock statistics, no Wireshark capture if there were lots of wlan wakelocks.

same as mine... (20120414)

Another useless report.

Permission denied (publickey).

You missed to setup your github account properly.

Read the github help.
http://help.github.com/set-up-git-redirect/
Also he needs to set up a complete source repo to have a hope of building an individual package (pain in the ass, I know, but worth it in the long run) - there are only VERY rare situations where someone should be cloning a git repo directly in from the Cyanogenmod repos.

I hope the revert the latest Kernel changes. System feels slower than before. Did a full wipe.

People ***** about battery, then when the settings are tuned in the direction of battery, they ***** about performance, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

If you don't like the default settings, CHANGE THEM. THEY ARE TUNABLE FOR A REASON. Stop asking developers to hold your hand! Do you want us to feed you too?

Is it just me or the wake lag has completely gone for everyone else as well (04/25 build)?
You're probably suffering a wakelock.

Have you tried doing a simple:

Settings < Security < Lock Screen < Screen lock

Then selecting "None", and then re-selecting select "Slide"?

Thanks, this fixed it :)

What's wrong with widgetlocker?

I normally love it, but since I installed cm9 it is a bit slow to turn on the screen after pressing the wake button.

On second notice, however, the stock lockscreen has been doing the same thing :(

You didn't get hidd3n sarcasm's in his post ;P
I would be very happy to be at 64% with 16h uptime and 2h screen on.
BTW hidd3n, stock battery or cheated 2000mAh one ? ;)

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

If you're a bloody noob and getting confused by following simple instructions, go down and read about using the noob-proof ODIN method.

First time installing CyanogenMod 9 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
    - READ FAQs: http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/Experimental:GT-I9100:Frequently_Asked_Questions
    - Make sure you're running ICS bootloaders lower than LPH! (if you're unsure, flash the CM9 Resurrection Edition)
    - Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
    - Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM9 zip
    - Flash GApps zip
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work)
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9:
    - Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM9 zip
    - Reboot

    Using the noob-proof ODIN method:
    - Download CM9 Resurrection Edition
    - Download GApps and put it onto your internal sdcard
    - Open Odin
    - Choose cm-9-XXXXXXXX-ODIN-galaxys2.tar.md5 as PDA
    - Boot your phone into download mode
    - Connect your device via usb to your computer
    - Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
    - Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished
    - Device boots automatically into recovery
    - Flash GApps
    - Reboot into CM9
    - Follow above steps to update CM9 to lastest available version (Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9)

It's done when it's done. Don't expect a release withing the next days. If it takes weeks, then it takes weeks.

I'll focus on I9100 development because it's the device with the most users.
It will take us a lot of time to integrate all patches/hacks needed for samsung devices.

Don't bug us or ask for etas, just be patient and let us work.
That's the best what you can do.
