Tried CM, PA, AXI0M, Purity, Mmuzzy, Cataclysm, Carbon, Rubik, RBJ, was about to give up, and just live with the SysUI bug but still have customizations, when I remembered I haven't tried Vanir yet. Not hoping for much, I flashed it. Super smooth, and I love the customizations and features. Great ROM! SysUI seems to be sane in this ROM I'm using AK, but what kernel do you guys use? Not that it should matter much, but I'm just curious.

Make sure to first flash the VanirAOSP nightly before flashing any of the experimental kernels to avoid issues

Thank you
What exactly is the difference between the Vanir AK kernel and the ones Anarkia posts? Also, which AK version are these based on?
Unrelated to kernels, one thing I noticed is that dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit is at 64m. I thought it was proven long ago that 96 was the correct one for a GNex? I ask this because I've been noticing RAM issues, where it gets to the point where things stutter a bit. I checked SysUI, which sits at a healthy 40mb.

Try this flash the latest nightly then the gapps of your choice followed by the latest experimental kernel once booted install the android terminal from the play store and enter su followed by vanir disable or just remove /system/etc/init.d/99vanir then reboot also if you using Trickster MOD flash this http://timos.me/tm/_media/downloads/trickster_reset.zip between builds to remove sticky residue

I thought everybody wrote home about decreasing the heapgrothlimit to 64? Plenty of ROMs did that. It's a good thing right?
Something like "Device not supported" "Fstrim not supported on the following partitions $list$" I tried to do some screenshot but the device rebooted when i pressed power+vol down :S
