I havent used AIO tools but I think the time is near.Guys, if you were content with the website's free beta service, consider sharing their website. They'll discontinue the free service on February 11th, but maybe they'll reconsider this if we show them our appreciation!

it's now illegal unlock the phone, but he's advertising here ad XDA

It didn't work for me but i'm not surprised, i don't have the original sim card inside : it's a prepaid sim.

I just misspelled the word NOW, i know it's not illegal unlock your phone. anyway it's now working anymore...
Does anyone know if this works on North American phones? Only seeing comments about romania and vodafone.

i tried this today from Austria (THREE Hutchinson) with my LG P990 Optimus 2x, and it worked fine. Had to pay 2 Canadian Dollar via PayPal (which are here ~1,41€) and within 1 hour i got the activation code.
Thank you, that was the cheapest Offer i cold find

It's allowed. Nobody forces you to pay dollars for unlocking and this thread is a valuable share2
I've read about privacy issues with sharing your IMEI. There is always that uncertainty that someone might do you wrong.
But from what I've read fremyblackberry has been around for more than 2 years and has tons of forum posts on different sites that confirm a satisfying service. Having said that, i think that it is unlikely that the service itself would abuse your IMEI.
However one should NEVER post IMEI-s in a public forum. I've stumbled upon forums where some user offers free unlocking by code, and users blindly race to post their IMEI hoping to get a free unlock. That way those codes can be read by the whole world, which is far more likely for them to be abused by someone.
Bottom line is, if in doubt, don't do it.1It's not illegal to unlock phones, so I think there is no problem with thread
