I'm running the latest nightly, feb-23 build. I installed the Bluetooth fix, but I can't connect to a wiimote. It connects them immediately disconnects. I can connect to other devices just fine. It seems that the Bluetooth just isn't working right yet. Thoughts? I tried 3 different programs to connect, none worked.

Connecting a Wii mote via Bluetooth isnt compatible with 4.2.x yet I thought?

just a quick question... are we ever going to see custom battery icons...love the rom keep up the good work :good:

Probably in the future. The dev team seems to be more focused on perfecting the Hybrid engine/PA-exclusive settings (things like Per-App DPI, etc) before adding the more common customization options we see on CM/AOKP (like custom battery icons, carrier label, etc.)

Hello, congratulations for the work, I'm enjoying a lot, I have two questions:

What is the best Kernel for ROM?

Is it possible to put a button on the navigation bar to expand the screen? I know that pressing the on / off but it does the possibility of having a button on the navigation bar was easier

As far as best kernel, most will tell you to try them out (its a matter of personal opinion and what you want/need). If I was to suggest one tho, I'd say m-kernel.

Also, there is a thread, I believe in the general thread, with tests for each kernel. That may help you decide.

Edit: here's that link - http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1889571

I just ran across something a few minutes ago, that I thought I`d share (sorry if already mentioned previously):

I wasn`t getting responses when tapping my keyboard keys along the edge of my screen. At first I thought it was my Thumb Keyboard app malfunctioning. I also suspected my touch-screen issues had returned. But after an hour of mental regression, it dawned on me that... this morning, I went into Settings > Toolbars > Trigger Area... and chose `Huge`. The `trigger area` interfered with touches/taps on whichever edge I had Pie Gravity `Huge` enabled on. Anyway, switching the Trigger Area back to `Normal (Default)` solved my problem!

Normally, I`d be saying: "I just lost a frikkin hour I`ll never get back" trying to figure it out, so I hope my hour-long head-scratching wasn`t in vain. :)

I'm wondering why MMS.apk is included in the latest nightly... I deleted it anyways.

Re: PARANOIDANDROID 3.0 nightly(0414) (4.2.2) | Hybrid, Pie, Per App Color

After seeing most of you guys recommended m-kernel, I decided to try it out.

I got the m37 and flash it in recovery, on PA 3(Feb 09) (not sure which kernel I was coming from, because I haven't touch the kernel for a long time) anyway, I flashed it and it was all good to boot up,

But right after the boot animation, the screen started to flash randomly, sometimes it would even be blacked for awhile (I am sure it's not in standby mode) which means the OS is running, but the screen constantly flashing.

After restart it a few times, and also re-flash the kernel, problem still existed

I had no choice but to flash another kernel - Franco. Now the tablet acts as normal, but I would like to try m-kernel as you guys said it had good battery life.

By any chance would any of you guys know what went wrong? Was I doing it wrong in the process?

Huge thanks!!

I've been using M-kernel for a long time and never saw our even heard of what you're describing. You might ask in the M-kernel thread here. I'd recommend starting again flashing the ROM, wiping the caches, rebooting, flashing gapps, rebooting again, then flashing M-kernel. Also, you might check to make sure your bootloader is current.

But really it's just weird, and you should ask Metallice.

Congratulations for the room, it's awesome.

When I use android 4.2.2 based paranoidandroid the bluetooth doesn't work. It doesn't turn on, just keep trying. I have already wiped and reinstalled everything and still the same. Is this a known issue?

When going into settings> status, settings would fc. Have rebooted, and tried again. Currently on feb23 build/Franco r47, easily recreatable. Here's a log cat if it helps

Thanks for the reply, I do have the 4.1.8 bootloader....and that's the newest one we have, right?

Also, It does run fine on the latest Franco kernel.....

Anyway, I will try to do as you recommend.

Thanks
