If I get time over the next week I will start translating to Spanish and Euskera
EDIT: I have taken a look at your page in crowdin, and you haven't added Euskera as a language to translate, so if you want to have it in your linux installer contact me and I will do it

Hi Burnhard, You did a lot stuff in there, also user webmagie did. I just tweaked some a bit and commited, mostly commata and some capitalization stuff. I honestly was lazy and did not complete everything, but the most. Please review.
As you are a translator, I think you should put your name into the German translator area, don't forget.

German translation status is done at 99%. Please anyone verify/approve/correct or discuss. As nobody is perfect, there is still possibility for improvements
German seems to be fine! Just a few minor tweaks.
On a side note: It looks like things get finally started here. So lets see how we can pull even more developers here to have more work to do xD

i'm just wondering if somebody is working on the open projects posted above. I have the feeling that for some reason people state they can translate to language xy to be mentioned in the first post, but then when it comes down to work they are gone. You have no benefit in seeing your name in the op (except seeing your name in op)
So please all of you who are willing to contribute to this thread (and the community) just do it now, or this thread is going to be dead sooner or later.
All the others are welcome to change their attitude and start to conduce to the community this way. You don't need any deep skills for this, but you have to invest some time, a thing all developers here do in a much more intense way then you have to do for a simple translation.
Do not just pick things here you like (mostly for free) but give something back (even its just a translation).
All the best and hopefully some more people will start with the promised work.

Well... true. Thank you for your reminder for translators. As you wrote, it does really not need depp skills, the web ui for translation is really easy to use - even I can do it and already did. Did really everybody subscribe? :crying:
Folks, if you don't want to translate, please drop a message and I'll remove you from the first page. If you have some spare time, please invest some of it for the XDA community. Thanks.

One thing I recognized for myself is, if you did translate or improve an existing translation and the developer decides to revert your work using the almost, but not as good solution, you might get frustrated.

You already asked if people subscribed to this thread an i have the feeling most of them didn't. Therefore i suggest to post your question the other way around, and ask the people who want to translate to drop a massage. This could lead to much less translators in the index but the one remaining are at least really here.

For ReLabs, @theimpulson granted me powers to approve strings. I'll do so within the next days after @Raiz looked at them like requested.Relabs translated entirely into French.

97Hello developers,this is a index about XDA members, who wants to translate your apps. The most easiest way would be to put a link in this thread, which is visible by public, please read info in the third post, there`s a Github repository, created by our estimated contributor @Primokorn, where you can offer your strings for translation.
You can use Crowdin, Google Docs, MoPad (Etherpad), Transifex, OneSky, POEditor etc. Github can be a solution for small projects where devs provide the full strings.xml file. There`s even a small tutorial.
Other recommendations how to handle translations or even this thread are always welcome, please post them in the thread to be discussed.
Also the XDA community offers following free services: App Tester Index, List of themers and designers as well as Community help with marketing.
Users: Developers need you. Post in this thread and I will add you to this index. Thank you!
1. Post here, indicating the language(s) you can translate apps into. Don't hesitate if there is already a translator for your language, it's better to have more than one for each language.
2. Subscribe to the thread to get the latest news and app translate requests.
3. If there is a request for translating an app, do it. If you think you can improve an existing translation, dive into its discussion.
Developers: You need an app translation
1. Please make the thread dedicated to your app on XDA. Post a link here, provide any other details which can help our translators (Google Play url, examples etc). If you want to use it, there`s a special Github repository.
2. Thread subscribers can see your app translation request quickly, translate your app and report to your thread. Please, save resources and only ask for translation if your app is "almost" finished, you add features or make a major update. Do not ask, if your app still is changing the labeling very often.
3. On this point, after the translation, please be kind and write something in this thread like "well done, we created the perfect app"
Credit Names:
If you app developers want to thank your translators, you can place their credit names (if available) somewhere in your app, for example in About -> Credits -> Translators. See the credit names behind the name of the XDA members in the list down below.
