I read the changelog, but this is cranium v6 kernel or new kernel include in the rom?
Example like this:
Now i'm using cranium v6 1900mhz kernel with broodrom...if u flash rc7 to it, yes i know this will delete broodrom but does the kernel remain the same cranium v6 or new cranium v7 kernel (if there is #7 kernel) replace it?
Lastly, after flash it...yes u mention dont wipe cache, but does my app still remains the same? Or its gone n need to restore back?
Cranium RC7 has Cranium Kernel#7
If u r movin from broodrom,it will delete everything except Feamod Recovery.
Cache will automatically be wiped,and so will ur data.

Not sure what you mean, after flashing RC3 (why did you do that?!) you will need to flash RC7 again if you want that (and Update#1). To repeat instructions:
Installation for RC6/7
*Recovery Package (Now,easy to install!)
1)Install FeaMod Recovery
2)boot into recovery mode
3)Flash Cranium Rom (RC7 and Update#1)
4)dont wipe cache.............and fix permssions!
Haven't tested it, but with Odin I think it does not wipe your data (as this does not run the same scripts as the Feamod script)... anyone care to test it? New version of Odin (update#1) will be released within an hour or so...

Yes pyronia. And make (working - make sure to test it before doing your upgrade!) backup using CWM/Feamod so you can revert to whatever you had before!!
Or wait for Odin package (see post before) as that may not wipe your data (untested, so you'll be the one testing this
).And as always: these are test ROMs to help you guys out - if something fails, if you don't have a backup, if it's not to your liking, if we post invalid instructions: it's your own responsibility
Flash rc7 then rc3 then rc7 again? What a weird flashing method...
So, via odin not wipe data, via cwm will wipe data...
The cwm zip is easy to do, but odin way is more recommended i guess? No need to restore n rearrange all my previous apps...
At 1page...it mention do not wipe cache..........fix permissions (cant understand this, does it mean fix the permission or leave it?)

1. You were the one that introduced that weird flashing method - that's why I asked why you'd want to do that... so no, do not go through RC3, please use Sakindia's instructions!
2. Please, pyronia, take care to read a little better what people post, it's all there, just go back a few posts...
3. CWM or Odin is whatever your preference is and Odin may keep your apps intact but someone will need to test...
4. Fix permissions is not needed, but does not hurt
Yes, make backup in Faemod, restore it (to test whether it's a correct backup) and flash Cranium. This is to keep your ROM the way it is now, it does not safe your Apps and Config, but allows you to go back to the ROM you have now in case Cranium is not what you wanted (or contains bugs, or whatever).
Also make a backup using whatever other app (Titanium backup) of your apps and config, as Cranium will all apps and config...
Seems you didn't read Sakindia post very well, he clearly states fix permissions is not necessary. And I'm pretty sure that it was already mentioned that Feamod is retained, so no, you do not need to reflash Feamod. Just make all backups (cwm and Titanium) flash RC7 and then Update#1, reinstall your apps, configure your device and... enjoy!!

When installing RC7 on a wiped device (ie. factory defaults, install XXKPS, install Faemod + Phoenix) you will need to install RC7 twice as the first time it for some reason does not install system (have reproduced this several times). So install RC7 simply again if it does not start after first install...

Happy new year to @ll, and sak great work I flash over my existing ROM and works without any problems but titanium didn't work so I restored my apps using appmonster pro and the app data with titanium.. Will test it now..

I did it as follows:
1. Create ROM
2. Boot system
3. Install busybox
4. Extract XXKPS ROM and copy to SDCARD
5. Extract my ROM with following commands from POST #1259 (on phone using adb shell)
6. Tarred them with command from POST #1259 (on phone using adb shell)
7. MD5'd the file with command from POST #1259 (on phone using adb shell)
8. Pulled the file (using adb), zipped it on my PC
9. Uploaded it
Haven't tested it yet as it's way past bedtime...6Tutorial for installing Cranium RC4
0. First of all download this:

2. start odin (Multi_Downloader_v4.43_with_smd0425.exe)
3. put your phone into the download mode
turn your phone off, then hold volume down+home button+power button until the download mod is open)
4. plugin your phone with the usb
5. pick as ops file the "AriesVE.ops“ in the "Basic-Rom“ folder
6. then klick left at the option "one package"
7. pick as one package: "I9001ZSKP6_I9001OZSKP6_I9001ZSKP6_HOME.tar.md5" in the "Basic-Rom“ folder
8. klick on start and wait (~5min)
9. your phone should be rebooted, configure it until you can call for example someone
10. turn your phone again off and put it in the download mode again
11. select as ops file "AriesVE.ops“ in the "clockworkmod“ folder
12. make sure you klick on "one package" again, then you pick as "one package" "FeaModRecovery_1.2.tar.md5“ in the "clockworkmod" folder
13. klick on start again
14. copy the "Zips“ folder on your mobile device sdcard, but make sure your usb debbuging is turned on
(settings->applications->development->turn usb debbuging on)
15. if everything is copied, turn your phone again off
16. enter the recovery mode
(by holding the buttons volume-up and power button until the samsung logo appears)
17. navigate with the volume button to "install zip from sdcard“, then to "choose zip from sdcrard“ and find the "zips" folder you put on your mobile device
18. first install the "Root-i9001-Signed.zip“
19. then install the "updateFMR_cfs_1.3.1.zip“
20. then install "signed_Cranium_i9001_2.3.6“
21. your phone should be rebooted, put your phone in the recovery mod again
22. then install the "Cranium_i9001_rc4_fixed_framework.zip“
23. enter the recovery mod again and make a backup
(choose "backup and restore“ then choose "backup“)
24. Enjoy your phone
DO NOT EVER WIPE YOUR DATA!!!!!!
