[Q] Problem with android system update
Hello, I just after 2 years repaired my old HTC Wildfire S (broken touch screen) and i just went into boot settings and I cleared storage (I just didnt know it means complete wipe), After that just new android update appeared, I downloaded it and then a screen appeared where was something about I am using custom ROM and it can not be updated. But I want to root my phone because its really slow (overclocking CPU) and i followed instructions on one thread here, but i got stuck simply in first step - unlocking bootloader. First step on HTCdev.com was installing RUU (I really dunno what it is) and there is not RUU for my ROM which is 1.33.401.3. So I ignored it and continued to next steps but after installing ADT bundle (its required on HTCdev but on printscreens was just different program so I was little bit confused) and then I copied adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll and fastboot.exe to C:\Android. After that I went to the step where I must open Command Prompt (or how its called) and obtain some "token" or what. It had to show some "code", but instead of code I obtained only error (<bootloader> [ERR] Command error !!! Okay [ 0.008s] finished. total time: 0.008s.) and I think its because I dont installed the RUU for my ROM. I found there similar thread but it went good with flashing HTC EU RUU (2.33.401.3), but when i tried to flash that RUU it said that it failed and I have to download RUU for my ROM. Can anybody please help me?
(I bought that phone from 1-2umobil.cz, it came with some polish ROM with installed some polish apps, but those apps, including the welcome and goodbye screen disappeared after I cleared the user data)
