After 2 full days of using this rom:

-radio still working

-video works great (even part of the files with hardware decoder) – installed mx player and moboplayer
-ported task manager, memo and others works great like on the base rom

-setting of the screen look delay after automatic screen fade to 1s and immediately – big mistake each time after fade – screen of death. Go back to 5s
-applying ics theme – mistake menu screens crapped text from sub-menu on the previous screen
-launcherpro after 1 day crashes depend on mood – sometimes part of screen is blank, sometime just hangs, another time looses all icons and widgets – after restart of the phone everything goes back to normal for a 1-2h
-camera preview – same look when I over-clocked too much my graphic card on pc – green, red dots.
- battery drain very fast

Finally found a workaround for S2E & ext corruption issue.

Currently I'm running on 10.1. (updating to 10.1.1 + fix atm) and i'm facing a problem with sending MMS. I've got right APNs set, mobile internet ON and sending stops on "Sending message..." and it's like that for about 2 hours so far (I'm trying to send 1mb image). Anyone?

Hm do you know the basics of adb? If yes, go in the message app, connect your phone, open adb and type: adb logcat > 1.txt
send the message and after a minute send me the 1.txt file

Market still horribly slow in 10.1.....
Does it have something to do with my carrier?
I tried over WiFi and EDGE and it was slow....

Last time you told me to change DNS (to Google DNS) but it did not work....

You have any solution now?

If no solution, please tell so...
Just don't ignore, I won't be angry or anything, I will try to figure out a fix on my own....

Kyrillos, Pls help, its embarrasing!

Hi Kyrillos,

Thanks for this wonderful ROM, using this ROM from the day one you've released and am happy with that as its flawlessly working than any other ROM at least for me.

Now coming back to the issue, recently I've enabled the message alert on FB app and when ever I get a message alert, the music app will start to play a particular song always. The irritating thing was there was no control button to switch it off, all I could do was make it in silent mode and after some time it goes off without doing anything.

And the embarrassing thing, I was in a meeting with one of my clients and the played track was Katty Perry's " Peacock"

I wanna see ur peacock, ****, ****, your peacock.....

He thought it was my ring tone

Is there any setting I've enabled by mistake..? I couldn't figure out this.. Also, I've read some one also facing the same issue..

Any remedy for this?

Another thing is the default launcher selection is not saved permanently, every reboot or even intermittently like after finishing a call or so its asking for the launcher selection

Also requesting for the handset config every reboot and ending with a error message. like this:

But I guess its a bug from the CM7A8 as I got the same error in Marcel's ROM too.

One more: some of the apps are not able to move to SD card saying that there's not enough space on the SDC but actually it has enough space.

Pls do something for the GPS fix too. I tried "fasterfix" and even paste ur last gps.conf to the etc folder but to no avail.

i believe usb tethering doesn't work like it should (not sure)

if you've some problems with usb-tethering you could check this post by silentlexx (was originally made in CM7-forum, but maybe it works for you too)

helped me more than reinstalling samsung drivers; but this is also often mentioned to be a possible solution

The fix you mention is already implemented on Kyrillos v10.1+

Now for those who have gps problems, please extract the attached files in /system/etc/ , set owner to 0.0, set permissions to 644 (rw-r--r--), reboot the phone and try gps. Leave feedback if you try. (If you dont know how to do this, check post #1436 , thanks urb4n)

NTP server seems to be for Europe, will it work for Asian countries too?

It will work but if you change it to asia instead of europe it may work better.

Most fixes is for AGPS. Do you have mobile data enabled?

For me the app GPS status worked great. I cleared agps data waited until I get a fix and then downloaded new agps data. now I get a very fast fix. Before at cold start: around 10 min. now: around 30 sec.
