i have tried another sense5.5 rom. just to test it. and there in settings the 3 dot menu is working.
mhhh i think its an bug.. @LlabTooFeR please investigate that

Have you installed any custom kernel? If so this is the answer. I have 3dot removal menu in settings and it works as always fine.

no i use stock kernel. weird. in settings/display...it dont matter if i set it to "press and hold for menu"
if i go to settings/accounts & sync and press the 3 dot menu it will not show up..
i have looked in build.prop and there is no "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1"
so the 3 dot menu should have to work . ? weird.
i will flash rom again with fullwipe and let you know..

Yes...untill you deactivate the animations (developer menu) and do a reboot of phone, then the 3-dot menu won't work anymore.

Try it and you'll see.

Btw re-enabling animations (+ reboot) will fix this issue again.

But it is a very anoying little bug for those who disable animations (like myself) for the smoothest experience of rom.

LlabTooFeR : might be worth putting into startpost? Many users have encountered it already (see ARHD thread as well)

ahh yes i disabled it.. i reenabled it and now its working again.. really anoying bug from htc.
also and thats a no go . (htcs fault) when animations are disabled and you are on lockscreen touch it on upper side it will go to bootscreen and freeze!

Another no-go imo is not being able to completely disable lockscreen anymore...very annoying. Why for FS has HTC removed this option???

I flashes the latest firmware and installed 20 over 14 without wiping, but now I can't access events in the gallery. I deleted data from the gallery but I I still can't access them, I am immediately returned to the event overview tab.

Do a clean flash/install. Always recommended. Rom works fine on my One with a clean install.

I'm not sure if is a bug or not but when the phone is blocked and I receive a call I must unlock for watch who are calling me...
Nobody have the same problem?

Just installed v20.0. Sense 5.5 is great.
Works flawlessly. No crashes...no nothing untoward negatively.

I downloaded the Rom via OTA.
Few observations:

1. After OTA download, it booted into recovery but did not install. Said sdcard not mounted or some such thing. Had to manually start installation.
2. Chose to "update". Then saw that the lockscreen was changed. Like a lock symbol within a circle. You gotta drag to unlock.
3. In settings, security settings, I was not able to configure the notification settings at all. It gave an error message...something to the effect of NO HANDLE CONFIGURED FOR THIS or some such similar thing.
4. So every boot into recovery, and i do a rom installation using the update mode once again. After installation, i noticed that the lock screen was back to the one in sense 5.

5. And now I'm able to get into notification settings.

Is there something wrong that I did? Or perhaps did I just notice some glitches. I'm not sure, but thought you should know this.

Okay that worked but now i am missing the productivity lockscreen, or any other lockscreen as a matter off fact as well as the notes app.

If I flash again with full wipe, then the whole point of OTA update is lost.

I know a full wipe would solve the problem, but shouldn't the update be working properly?
