[Q] International Trade???

I am about to trade my Desire (i am in the UK) for an iPhone (in the US)..

the thing is, I have to send my Desire first, and the other guy will only send his iPhone after he gets my Desire because he does not own anyother phones.. I dont want to lose my Desire so is there a safe way to do this?!

Sell your desire first (get cash in hand). And next purchase isomething from known seller.
On the other hand if you do as proposed your story will make for a great read here in off topic.

There's a 99.9% possibility that you will not get your iphone, don't you think it will a good deal on the other guy to have in hand an iphone and a desire???

dude probably he already have a client for your desire

LoL..I thought it was from ebay...well...you can try..buy even if it is on xda...it´s always at your own risk.

totally not a good idea for international..best idea sell it locally, then buy a iphone 3gs..u probably will make more money

the thing is an iPhone is worth more then my Desire (which is in perfect condition!).. so I wanted to trade and sell the iphone.. and get something else..

good choice, cuz how u are going to know that once he gets your phone, that he will send you the phone. i could also show you a iphone that way but never send you one. and there is no way of tracking or blocking the phone.
best be happy with what you have
