[MOD][20/04] BR CameraMOD 2X | V20Q | 10-15-30-40mbps | Final v0.3 Trunk&Stable

HI people, i'm back with another Optimus 2X, some time ago due college i stop using android and i sold my HTC Sensation, now i have more time, and i wanted to buy another android, but you know, my money at this
moment isnt the best... so the best phone performance/price is the optimus 2X, and i bought it.

Just in case i really love nvidia ( also ati ) , isn't that much as GSII or HTCS, but it OWNS!
Well im going to stop talking and start to show you the important thing



First of all, just to be sure, this MOD can't break your device, if the camera doesnt
work is due some "trouble or bug" or your rom isn't compatible. ( ICS or FROYO )


INFORMATION ABOUT VERSIONS, PLEASE READ.


FIRST OF ALL
About the bitrate, lower modes than D1, doesnt have custom bitrate, so bitrate selector isnt used, i mean 40mbps is not 40mbps its like stock, so D1, VGA, HD and FHD are the only ones who use the bitrate selector.

BR CameraMOD O2X-E
Actually. v0.3

• Small improvement on image quality
• Stock FPS for 1080p
• Bitrate selector from 10 to 30mbps.
  ( only for spainish and english the rest is the usual quality selector )
• Few FPS tweaks.
• MP4 as output file.
• Higher camera performance ( less blurred movies under movement ).
• Memory boost 50MB.
• Added crazy media profiles, haha lol ( really it doesnt do anything )
• increased audio sampling rate to 44.1kHz

BR CameraMOD O2X-EX
Actually. v0.3

• Same as O2X-E but with litle diferent style. ( Icons and UI )
  this is totally optional, and if you dislike there is the stock version.

• FPS for 1080p @ 30FPS ( require fast SD and overclocked to avoid "fps dropping" )
• Bitrate selector from 15 to 40mbps.
  ( only for spainish and english the rest is the usual quality selector )
• Few FPS tweaks.
• MP4 as output file.
• Higher camera performance ( less blurred movies under movement ).
• Memory boost 50MB.
• Added crazy media profiles, haha lol ( really it doesnt do anything )
• increased audio sampling rate to 44.1kHz

Actually. v0.3

• Same as O2X-T but with litle diferent style. ( Icons and UI )
  this is totally optional, and if you dislike there is the stock version.

Not updated

• Try recording audio bitrate 128 or 192 or 256kbps. ( it overload the phone )

Possible bugs or errors.

• Sometimes the FPS went down when the light changes.
• The phone may freeze if you dont have a fast micro SD ( when writing the video )
• Random performance issue when using apps on background, solution use External SD to store your videos.

What i have in my mind.

• I want to play with 60 FPS ( 1080P impossible atleast for now, so 720P or D1 )
• Modify the weird LG UI, with another more Eye-like.
• Try to enable ISO 1200.
• Try to enable continous-autofocus.

UPDATES: I have good and bad news.

Bad news: In the next coming week in my college, we gonna start the
final project before the end! and its really a hard work, so im gonna be out of time ( less updates ).

Also, after intensive researching, this camera cant be improved, kernel was failed to compile every time i try
every time diferent errors, so i can't finish the modifications on kernel.

Also, the modifications on the apk, now are at full, there is nothing can be improved withouth toouching the kernel.

And now...

Good news: Im working on v0.3 stable final ( and trunk ) release it features the following final settings, this night maybe its finished.

BR CameraMOD O2X-E ( or -EX )
- Bitrate selector final ( only in english and spainish, rest are called by quality factor )
bitrates goes from 15mbps, 30mbps and 40mbps.
- Video quality tweaked, now videos are ****ing awesome clear, withouth FPS dropping.
- New UI ( also withouth it )
- Also same stuff as v0.2


BR CameraMOD O2X-T ( or -TX )
- Same as O2X-E except FPS for 1080P it is at 30fps.
- Same such bitrates.
- Some experimental stuff if someone patch the kernel. ( it doesnt make any change, because kernel has his limitations )
- Also same stuff as v0.2

And well, soon as i can im gonna start working on CyanogenMOD and MIUI cameras.

Actually, a 32Gb Class 10 doesnt cost so much more than arround 30$.

Here in spain, my micro SD 32Gb class 10 it cost arround 28-34€.


UPDATES: Im porting some content from Optimus 3D to sucsessfully enable auto-focus on video, im having some troubles, but there must be a way.

Yea, wasnt stable ( im having some strange lines in screen sometimes ), but im having FPS past 30FPS ( 720P and lower modes, dont know but doesnt want to go up 30FPS, seems there is some limitation, im looking for it right now, this camera seems fully capable to do 60FPS , atleast at 720P or lower modes ), and average FPS its super stable, just need to check whats happening with the DSP.
