You mean change the battery icon? and keep the quick panel?

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1632066

extract the systemui and paste it into /system/app and replace the original one.
You might want to clear the dalvik cache before doing it to avoid a problem that occurs, if that doesn't work repeat it again (using Root explorer or something that can write in /system)

Yes I did it in 2.2, but I though that in 2.4 it is included all and you can choose which battery icon you can use. Probably not...

It is included, it's under the custom options when you chose your phone, SU, and camera, you need to scroll down, and by the looks of thing he only included the first one from them all

Hm, I never got Wifi to work with Doomkernel v4, switched to ArcKnight RC1+wifimodules. Now Arconium 2.4 works fine with wifi and all. :)

I installed the 2.4 and had a strange position of widgets the 1st time, but it was normal: I applied the mod 5x4 before, and forgot to apply it after install :D
After to have done all correctly, all is ok ;):
I choosen moded camera, moded status bar. I didn't select "sony widget", but I keep 3 widgets that I pasted manually (weather, music, media, that I made transparent).

Maybe 2 remarks/questions:
- about the new optional tool "Equalizer": does it do the same (or more) than DSP Manager ? If yes, should I remove DSP Manager ?

- about the moded toolbar: is it possible to close automatically the toolbar when we select something ? For ex, if you select Reboot or Shutdown, you have to close the toolbar, to be able to click on the yes/no message

For your second question you can use this instead

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1540084

There's not much difference but there's an option in the quick panel setting to automatically close after pushing an option

FUN TIP

So i have a FUN TIP for everyone

Don't go to developer option and tick force gpu rendering when you chose software rendering on the install.

I totally wasn't thinking just setting up my phone as ive dont many times b4 and after i ticked that my phone wigged out and worked at a snails pace took me about 10 minutes just to get to the menu to turn it off.

LESSON LEARNED!

Doomed I find that wifi doesn't work with doomkernel either. Does the fix include it or just the stock kernel?

    Known Issues for 5.0

    • Touch controls might not work in AROMA Installer.
    • As with stock ICS, phone/contacts may take a while to start for the first time after boot.
    • If you didn't do a full wipe when coming from 4.1.B.0.431, you might have problems deleting bloatware.

    Troubleshooting

    • Flash the corresponding modules from the kernel you use (unless "modules included" is written) to make sure WiFi works properly.
    • If touch doesn't work in AROMA Installer, you can use hardware keys to navigate (like CWM).

    Installation

    1. Copy update zip to SD card.
    2. Flash a suitable baseband using FlashTool.
    3. Flash one of the listed kernels or any compatible ones.
    4. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery.
    5. Flash zip package.
    6. Follow on-screen instructions.
    7. Reboot.
