Mmmm it seems to be very strange your case. Which rom are you using? I have a viva pre-paid sim card, if I could activate internet by buying one of their internet package, I were able to test it.

Viva internet is good, I can live with edge because as you know 3g drains batteries very quickly.

How do I buy a 24 hours internet package on a prepaid sim card? If I manage to do it, I will let you know.

Where do you live?

Battery stuff

Hi everyone!

I've bought a new battery for my Bravo (from DX like so). The old one stopped working about a month ago, my new battery is not bad, but... It discharges till 1% and than I can watch Youtube videos, make tests in Quadrant or play games without any reboots, lags or something like this. Battery life from 100 to 1 percent is not bad at all, but what if my smartphone can work about an hour after that? Is it safe? Thanks!

You mean that when your phone battety life is in 1%, you can still use the phone an hour more?

Yes, but I need one more day for testing. Last night it showed me 1% than I removed battery stats through recovery and connect Bravo to the charger. 20% appeared on the screen (immediately) and I've detached smartphone. In the morning battery still shows 4 percent (not a bad thing with Wi-Fi and sync turned on). I hope my problem is solved.

It seems to be ut was the problem, when you change roms you get issues like that.

Had CM7 unofficial and tried flashing CM10 through CWM. CM10 would not load and CWM contained on rom would not mount sdcard to restore backup. Tried flashing sbf to restart and now it gets stuck in bootloop from red moto to att logo. Where did I screw up?

Edit

Sorry about that. Got it, factory wipe in default recovery. Had to flash stock sbf once or twice before and never had to do that step. Had me alittle worried.

My problem is just finding simple (meaning all in one place) instructions and links for installing CM. Pretty much everything that I've found assumes I know a lot about the process that someone new to it won't. Can anyone comment on the instructions I put together here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2602940

Bueno, dejame escribirte los pasos para instalar CM7 estando en Froyo!
Well, let me tell you the steps to follow to install CM7 if you are on Froyo!

    1) root (rootear)
    SuperOneClick

nota: recuerda Activar instalar apps fuera del market (Allow non market apps)

    Reboot (Reinicia)

    2) install recovery (instalar el recovery)
    Install app Defy 2nd init:
    2ndInit Recovery Installer v2.0

2ndInit Defy: is not in the market anymore (ya no esta en el market)

    3) Download CM7 (descargar CM7)
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1445839

1- copy zip to sdcard (copiar el zip a la memoria)
2- reboot your device in Bootmenu (recovery clockworkmod) (reinicia el telefono en Bootmenu)
3- WIPE (wipe data/factory and wipe cache partition) (haz wipe)
4- install the zip from sdcard (instala el zip desde la memoria)
    5- reboot (reinicia)
    6- ENJOY!!

I'm going to make a little guide later for newbies!!
