You confirm this? Please tell us about any other feature that it has, as I'd like to backup things with your app, if possible, before going through a custom mod.

Is it possible for this to work on a 860? I bought it online and the imei checked out before purchase bit by time i got it and went to activate it, the imei was blacklisted. If anyone had any advice please message me.

This is not for changing an IMEI, it's to back yours up in case it's ever lost during a ROM flash, etc.

I dont know how old this thread is guys, but i just bought a g900t off amazon and apparently it has a bad IMEI. the phone is running stick 4.4.2
Do i have any options if i decide to keep this? Very savvy with code etc, and rooting roms. i really want to keep the phone and in the past, my service Straight Talk has worked with Bad IMEI S4...

You are absolutely right. It is indeed illegal in some countries. In other countries it is completely legal. :good:1LTE devices have a QualcommChip, where everything is stored in the nvRAM, the EFS includes only files that have nothing but absolutely nothing to do with the IMEI.
