[Q] HTC Sensation 4G black screen on boot up
Yes, I know there are a lot fo threads about this issue, but I wanted to open a new one for my case. (it's way faster to read and try instead of waiting for an answer in in my opinion).
So here is what happened:
I have HTC Sensation 4G (T-Mobile) with broken wifi. I have tried the heating method to bring it back to life but no luck, so I bough the part meanwhile got some more tests on my old part. In one of the tests i removed the 2 flexible cables from the part which does not have the big flexible cable and when I get all the parts in one I am getting a black screen on boot. The indicator for charging is working correctly. the 4 buttons in the bottom of the phone are blinking/lighted up depends on how am I pushing the power button. Unfortunately i have lost my memory card so i can't get the information i had there (like 4ext recovery files and my backups). Can't get into recovery/bootloader etc. Just back screen with only one normal vibration as it was. I am using ubuntu and in terminal with "lsusb" it gives me :
Bus 001 Device 026: ID 0bb4:0ca8 HTC (High Tech Computer Corp.)
I added adb and fastboot but here is what i get :
root@NoBrain:~# fastboot reboot-bootloader
< waiting for device >
I am up for any suggestions.
Thanks in advice.
I have just noticed my device IS working! After I started it, it got locked, so I tried to push power button -> my buttons in the bottom flashed and when I pressed volume +/- i headed a sound! So only my display isnt starting. What could be the reason? most likely a flexable cable ?
